(ESP - ENG) 🏡“THE FALLINGWATER HOUSE”🏡 / “LA CASA DE LA CASCADA”
🌟Greetings dear community and friends of #Hive and #Nerday! 🌟 In this opportunity I want to share with you this digital illustration that I made of the Fallingwater House, which is a work of one of my favorite architects: Frank Lloyd Wright, it is considered one of the most outstanding constructions of Modern Architecture, it is an United States National Monument and currently functions as a museum, allowing many people passionate about Architecture to visit it and enjoy this experience. Personally, I would love to visit it one day, that's why I was inspired to do the illustration!
La característica principal que destaca de esta edificación es la brillante integración con el medio ambiente que logró el Arquitecto a través del diseño, esto se conoce como Arquitectura Orgánica, y el resultado me parece perfecto: en lugar de construir la vivienda a orillas del rio para contemplar la cascada desde allí, se optó por construirla sobre la misma cascada, es decir que el curso de agua forma parte de la construcción, y rodeada de toda la vegetación del entorno, ¡Que manera tan maravillosa de realzar la naturaleza integrándola con la arquitectura!
The main characteristic that stands out of this building is the brilliant integration with the environment that the Architect achieved through design, this is known as Organic Architecture, and the result seems perfect: instead of building the house on the banks of the river to contemplate the waterfall from there, it was decided to build it on the same waterfall, that is, the water course is part of the construction, and surrounded by all the surrounding vegetation, what a wonderful way to enhance nature by integrating it with the architecture!

🎨Procedimiento🎨
Process
Primero realicé el boceto en el programa Adobe Illustrator, utilizando la herramienta pluma, lápiz y pincel, que permite ir trazando las líneas con el mouse. Decidí colocarle un fondo de papel con tonalidad grisácea, para dar un efecto interesante cuando aplique la iluminación general.
First I made the sketch in the Adobe Illustrator program, using the pen, pencil and brush tool, which allows you to trace the lines with the mouse. I decided to put a grayish-toned paper background on it, to give an interesting effect when applying general lighting.
Aquí comencé a aplicar los colores bases a la ilustración, utilizando tonos amarillos planos en las ventanas, mientras que para las paredes de piedra, utilicé formas con degradados de tonalidades grisáceas y blancas, para lograr un efecto de piedra. Así mismo, en las piedras y el agua utilicé estos degradados, con diversos tonos de verdes, grises, blancos y marrones, para luego aplicar sombras en el siguiente paso.
Here I began to apply the base colors to the illustration, using flat yellow tones on the windows, while for the stone walls, I used shapes with gradients of grayish and white tones, to achieve a stone effect. Likewise, in the stones and the water I used these gradients, with various shades of green, gray, white and brown, to then apply shadows in the next step.
En esta parte del procedimiento, empiezo a detallar las sombras del agua, las paredes de la casa y las piedras. También comienzo a dibujar las siluetas de los árboles que se asoman por detrás de la edificación. Por último, en este paso dibujo el agua de la cascada, cayendo sobre el río, ¡desde la propia casa!
In this part of the process, I begin to detail the shadows of the water, the walls of the house and the stones. I also began to draw the silhouettes of the trees that loom behind the building. Finally, in this step I draw the water from the waterfall, falling on the river, from the house itself!
Para terminar, agregué las luces sobre el agua y las rocas, los detalles finales de la vegetación y en el Programa Adobe Photoshop coloqué las luces en tono amarillo en las ventanas, utilizando un pincel redondo con baja opacidad y en modo de fusión “luz fuerte”. El Resultado final me encantó! ¿Qué opinan ustedes?
To finish, I added the lights on the water and the rocks, the final details of the vegetation and in the Adobe Photoshop Program I placed the lights in yellow tone on the windows, using a round brush with low opacity and in “strong light” blending mode. ”. I Loved the final result! What do you think?

Espero que les haya gustado esta publicación y no olviden que nunca es tarde para aprender nuevas técnicas relacionadas al arte, yo solía pensar que no lograría buenos resultados en ilustración digital debido a que no cuento con una tableta gráfica, sin embargo tenía muchas ganas de aprender y decidí intentarlo con la laptop y el mouse, y aunque es un poco tedioso, me entretiene mucho y me impresionó el resultado que logré con esta ilustración. La dedicación y el amor a lo que uno hace prevalece siempre por sobre todas las limitaciones que se puedan presentar.
I hope you liked this publication and do not forget that it’s never too late to learn new techniques related to art, I used to think that I would not achieve good results in digital illustration because I do not have a graphic tablet, however I really wanted to learn and I decided to try it with the laptop and the mouse, and although it is a bit tedious, it entertains me a lot and I was impressed with the result that I achieved with this illustration. Dedication and love for what one does always prevails over all limitations that may arise.
