How healthy habits changed my life.

Hello gems, today I'm here to talk a little about bodybuilding, a great passion of my life, very briefly I started practicing in 2016, in the beginning it was just an aesthetic issue, but over the years it has become a great passion in my life, a outlet for daily stress with all things work-related and personal problems. In this image, it was a protocol start I made in mid 2020, I had just recovered from post-marriage depression (another story I want to share with you soon), over a period of 1 year I delivered the depression and my life was limited to alcohol and the night, I know that many will find this common and in fact it can be, but it is common when you go out to rejoice, not to hide a deep sadness that consumes you. At the time I received an invitation from a friend who is a bodybuilding athlete (by the way he is my cousin), he helped me to overcome this dark phase of my life, taking me back to the gym that had stopped a while ago due to these problems. . At the beginning of the protocol, we started with a more carbohydrate-restricted diet, gradually reducing so as not to lose too much performance during training, in addition to the restricted diet, I dedicated 1 hour every day to light walks with an empty stomach, to help burn more fat body.

To be more objective and give you an idea of my diet, it was basically 7 meals a day consisting of 150g of protein and 50g of carbohydrates each meal, on weekends, I gradually reduced carbohydrates until I reached zero carbohydrates at meals (I confess it was torture not to have carbohydrates on the weekend), in the supplementation, I used Creatine before and during training, Glutamine after training and Whey Protein also after training, in the morning I also used caffeine in capsules.

I always practiced weight training and walking from Monday to Friday, leaving Saturdays and Sundays as a rest day for a good muscle recovery. Walking on an empty stomach helped me burn a lot of body fat, as the only resource available was body fat.

Even with low carbohydrates due to a restricted diet, I always did my best to keep intense workouts both in terms of loading and techniques.

Two months after starting the protocol, strictly following all the steps, and processes I have already achieved a great improvement in my physique, I owe part of these gains to muscle memory since I practiced weight training for some time, as in everything else in life, results bring more strength. Willingness and enthusiasm to follow, thanks to weight training, my new routine and social cycle, I already felt like a new man, both physically and mentally. I had already lost 7KG in relation to the first photo.

There were days when I woke up excited about my daily goals and days when I honestly didn't have the heart, but I took that goal seriously as I do my job, how I do my studies, in life everything is a matter of how much you dedicate yourself to something right ? So my advice is that whether in sports or at work, if you want something you need to give it your best every day.

In this last photo I apologize for the resolution not being as good as the others, but it's the cell phone that didn't help much, in this last photo I had already lost 10KG in total and it was taken in October 2020 this was the end of my protocol, with the body I always wanted, a restructured psychology. At the end of the protocol, I had 78kg and a body fat percentage below 7%. Many people believe that those in the gym are looking for trivial things like aesthetics and I say that the result on the body is just a payment, for all the effort, sweat, pain and dedication, weight training helped me to have more concentration on everything I do. I do, in addition to helping me take all the stress out of my day. Another important thing I must comment here is that many times I wanted to stop, give up and surrender to all the bad things that were consuming me inside, but I learned that my only and biggest enemy will always be my mind, so as long as I can win it, I can overcome all obstacles and difficulties in my life, this is the same for everyone and in all areas of our life. Whether at work, at home or anything you do, focus and believe that you can, because yes you can, we can all be and do what we want, it all depends on how hard you are going to put in and fight for it!

I thank everyone for the opportunity and I hope you enjoy this experience of my life!

Thanks!
