It finally happened, in Texas!
Here's a few photos of a Diamondback Watersnake I caught while in South Texas. Yeah, we got them in my state too, it's just that I never found one here. A lot of people on YouTube use this snake for clickbait, since when the video title reads "Bitten By a DIAMONBACK" people generally think of the venomous Diamondback Rattlesnake, and not the nonvenomous Diamonback Watersnake.
Well, I didn't make a video about getting bitten by it, and in fact it never even bit me. I also used the scientific name "Nerodia rhombifer" in the title of this post rather than calling it "A DIAMONDBACK in the Hand is Worth Two in the Canal." Perhaps one day I'll learn. Enjoy the photos.

Hola! Las fotos son increíbles, la serpiente se ve interesante.
Saludos
Very brave in holding it. I see it looks a bit horrified and amused. have a nice day
How you hold them on hand? Did you took any training on that? It so scary!
Just a lot of practice, no actual training.
Really something heroic in real life you are doing, stay blessed with your baby peepers ❤️
What you do after you capture them?
Just take some photos and video maybe, let the Little-Peppers check them out and release them.
That is awesome!
