Words cannot fully express how happy I am to make my Introduction post. I never knew a place like this existed until a good friend @focusnow told me about Hive. I want to say a big thank you to him. In addition to the great things he told me about Hive, I have taken a look around and am convinced that Hive is truly a place where great minds me. First of all, permit me tell you who I am.

Get to know me

My name is Okeoma Ezerie. I was borne in 1982 into the family of Late Ezerie Nkoro. I am from Abia state, one of the south Easter states in Nigeria. Growing up.in a rural area, I quickly found out how difficult life can be. My Village is very insignificant in Nigeria, in the sense that since I was born into that Villame of Nigeria Citizens and authorities can neither assert awareness of its existence nor improve its living conditions, especially among the secular authorities, hence nothing significant has been done to them in terms of Good Road Network, Water System, Market or even Electricity.

My parents are hard-working people who did all they could to bring us up to become responsible adults in the society today. Though was not all rosy, their efforts in parenting has helped me to navigate the rough road of life. I remain forever grateful to them.

MY EDUCATION

I wouldn't say much about my education in the early stages of life. I spent years in my rural going to school in my small community. Let me start from my tertiary education.

In the year 2005, I got admission into Abia state State Polytechnic, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, West Africa. I studied Public Administration and Human Resources. Abia State Polytechnic is a prestigious tertiary institution that has produced people who rose to higher levels in government, health, education and other sectors in the Nigerian society.

I did so well in school and my efforts was recognized. For example, in 2007 I won an award for the National undergraduate Essay competition for the all Accounting Students, though I was in public Administration department then. School life is not so easy with early morning lectures and other stress. That notwithstanding, I went through it all and graduated in 2009. I did my final clearance in February 11, 2011. This is a brief history of my education. From then, I moved into pursuing my career as a graduate.

MY CAREER

Like mentioned before my career life began as early as the year 2000 as a school teacher. By 2003 I set up a poultry farm in my village Umuchima Village by the year 2005 my farm was yielding six create of create eggs each day.

We farmers then found it much difficult to feed birds because no body to patronize us then, no thanks to the bird flu outbreak then. So most of my birds then died while the remnant were sold aution price especially in that remote area. Granted that gave me an economic set back, but never quenched my career.

By the year 2011, I got a job with First Bank of Nigeria ltd, I worked with them till 2013 when I resigned to start another business namely; Bezeson Daily savings and Loan. I run the business till 2016 when some unscrupulous customers and workers defrauded the company of a heavy amount, which plunged me into a heavy debt which am still paying back till today.

BY 2017 I rejoined teaching career again as there was limited opportunity for job there in Aba where I based then as continue to work I kept paying back the debt by the year 2019 I moved over to Lagos, where I based presently. So since that last year till now I have been doing freelancing Marketing job which has not been paying me fine, as a result of poor network system and new location. Mean while I also learn other skills as a project manager such as house finishes touch, like Tiling, Painting, inter locking, screeding and POPs.

SOCIAL LIFE

I love making friends like you who can impart on my life and whom I can also impart on there own too. I am also a motivational Speaker and I write alot of poems and drama. You can read below some of my Poems in later articles I will publish.

Conclusion

Am excited about this journey on writing and publishing content here on Hive. I hope to connect with you friends and establishing great relationships. I am new and so has plenty things to learn, but am sure to get the assistance I need to grow from you friends.

I have been posting

Welcome to the Hive community @onyeoga!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and Peaklock,
  3. The owner password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and
be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own
    .
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hivians available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:
