Hey Pix, what a great intro to Hive! I love your creative approach to the selfie with a dated mask - LOL - and we all know that eyes are the first thing humans look at ππ€.
Your job sounds very interesting. In a previous job I worked for a machinery company whose fruit juice and dryer lines had to be built where the fruit is i.e. far away from Europe usually pretty remote and our engineers had to go there for weeks on time to install and test them. Not me but business travel - yeah, I hear ya - for the most part, it is not the joy most people think it is.
You have traveled a ton and also lived, worked overseas - good for you! Maybe in the future, you can share a few of your travels in #haveyoubeenhere or in one of the photography communities. Your photos are awesome!
Thanks @oceanbee. Yes travelling for work ain't all that fun at times especially on a ship with limited internet connection and stuffs. Oh but it was fun going for technical meetings as those are just for few days in a nice hotel and stuffs :)
Would like to share those when I have the chance. Most of the photos in Europe were taken when I was studying there. When I was doing my Masters, my classmates were all photography buffs with all their DSLRs and that was when I bought the LX7 which is quite a good compact camera with some nice manual settings possible. To be honest it's been quite sometime since I fire that guy. Maybe times have change that we usually just use phone cameras, but I do enjoy framing the shot and then post process it. Anyway missed those days :)
Totally the same here with regards to the camera. I used to do much more photography and actually sell prints, hence I have a nice DSLR and lenses but who wants to lug those around anymore? Not me, unless it's a specialized shot e.g. night or model π
