RE: TRENDING IN NAIJA: #JUSTICEFOERIZU

SUICIDE is a crime too punishable in our law courts.

i think this is where our legislators failed because I don't understand how you can prosecute a dead person. If want to die and I am successful, the last thing I would be worried about is breaking the law.

your reply though makes me feel bad as though I'm in support of Nani.

i never implied that. I don't agree with your opinion doesn't mean it's wrong--there are no right or wrongs here.

something the deceased would have done and that step MIGHT have also commanded him the backings of SOME of the same social media where his character was assassinated.

cancel culture is a thing and it has both virtual and real-life implications that you can't even begin to fathom, and chasing legal actions will do little to redeem your image. mate don't even pray to be in such a situation. You might clear your name legally but it is a stigma that lives with you forever. Few popular figures have handled issues of false accusation well. Johnny Depp is a popular figure who almost got ruined because of this, for months it was his words against his partner and hers held more weight because the average person thinks one cannot make false sexual assault allegations. He was lucky to have proof.

Let's allow the dead rest in peace.
