Falle porque esas sombras son parte de mi columna vertebral, falle al creer que podría borrar el pasado en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, sin darme cuenta que al sacar todas aquellas memorias mi cuerpo se derrumbaría por completo, era como un Jenga intentando sacar las piezas manteniéndome en equilibrio.

Así que aprendí a vivir con ellas, las hice parte de mi y me fortalecí, ahora era más fuerte y un poco menos confiada y mi columna estaba formada por cada pequeña vivencia que me marcaba.

Shadows, there are only shadows of what I was, there are no ashes left, only shadows.
Those shadows loaded with memories that haunt me at night,
memories that I tried to destroy but failed to do so.

I failed because those shadows are part of my backbone, I failed by believing that I could erase the past in the blink of an eye, without realizing that by taking out all those memories my body would completely collapse, it was like a Jenga trying to take out the pieces while keeping me in balance.

So I learned to live with them, I made them part of me and I became stronger, now I was stronger and a little less confident and my spine was formed by every little experience that marked me.
