Lo mejor que podemos hacer por los mas pequeños de la casa, es hacer sacar una sonrisa después de un momento desagradable. Este día quise dedicarlo a aquellos pequeños que lastimosamente vivieron una noche muy preocupante y de mucho terror dentro de sus hogares.

Donde vivo somos una parroquia de mucha unidad entre vecinos y ayer lastimosamente nuestros vecinos del sector Las Barracas de la Parroquia, La Vega, tuvieron un momento muy catastrófico desde sus casas, ya que de manera inesperada sufrió una ruptura de tubo matriz de aguas blancas cerca de sus residencias, causando estragos alrededor del sector.

Where I live we are a parish with a lot of unity between neighbors and yesterday unfortunately our neighbors in the Las Barracas de la Parroquia sector, La Vega, had a very catastrophic moment from their homes, as they unexpectedly suffered a rupture of the white water matrix tube nearby of their residences, wreaking havoc around the sector.

Hasta altas horas de la noche, los vecinos vivieron un momento muy incomodo y no se trataba de daños hecho por lluvias, sino por la presión y la fuerza del agua en que golpeaba las casas. El daño causo grandes inundaciones en estas viviendas que tuvimos que recurrir en ayuda de muchos vecinos y también de los Bomberos.

Until late at night, the neighbors lived a very uncomfortable moment and it was not damage done by rain, but by the pressure and force of the water hitting the houses. The damage caused great floods in these houses that we had to turn to the help of many neighbors and also the Fire Department.

Gracias a Dios no hubo perdidas humanas que lamentar ni heridos que atender, aunque lo material fue algo muy preocupante en este aspecto. Pero lo mas lastimoso fue tener que ver a los niños de este vecindario todos asustados y con mucho miedo por el temor de despertarse con sus camas mojadas o sus casas totalmente inundados.

Thank God there were no human losses to regret or injuries to attend to, although the material was something very worrying in this regard. But the most pitiful thing was having to see the children of this neighborhood all scared and very scared for the fear of waking up with their beds wet or their houses totally flooded.

Así que, junto al Equipo Comunitario, nos ingeniamos un plan, mientras se hacían los arreglos correspondientes.

Nos ocupamos de llevarnos a los mas pequeños de las viviendas, a distraerlo en una mañana distinta, donde ellos pudieran disfrutar de un momento distinto junto a sus amiguitos y demás compañeros. Los llevamos a las instalaciones educativas mas cercanas, donde participaron en diversos juegos y también fueron sorprendidos con hermosos regalos, los cuales cambiaron sus hermosos rostros, con una impresionante sonrisa, que debo considerar, nos lleno a todos el corazón.

We take care of taking the smallest of the houses, to distract them on a different morning, where they could enjoy a different moment with their friends and other colleagues. We took them to the nearest educational facilities, where they participated in various games and were also surprised with beautiful gifts, which changed their beautiful faces, with an impressive smile, which I must consider, filled our hearts.

Esto nos lleno completamente el alma, quitándole el peso a aquellos padres que resultaron afectados por este desastre que no tiene culpa ninguno, pero que fue una alarma para reparar aquellos daños.

This completely filled our souls, taking the weight off those parents who were affected by this disaster, who are not at fault, but which was an alarm to repair those damages.

Esto afecto a mas de 35 familias, pero la respuesta no falto, así que citamos a los servicios correspondientes los cuales atendieron con mucho compromiso esta emergencia que había hecho un gran daño en los vecinos. Parte de los afectados en sus viviendas era un trabajador emblemático el cual junto a los vecinos, padres y madres del sector, dieron su empeño para que este gran asunto se atendiera con gran velocidad y efectividad, mientras mi equipo comunitario cosechaba sonrisas a sus pequeños.

This affected more than 35 families, but the response was not lacking, so we summoned the corresponding services which responded with great commitment to this emergency that had caused great damage to the neighbors. Part of those affected in their homes was an emblematic worker who, together with the neighbors, fathers and mothers of the sector, gave their efforts so that this great issue was dealt with with great speed and effectiveness, while my community team reaped smiles to their little ones.

Al finalizar toda la jornada, se logro reparar todo el daño gracias a la colaboración del equipo comunitario y la dedicación de muchos vecinos.

Posterior a eso me dirigí a celebrar este triunfo del día, donde logramos cosechar muchos mas éxitos que nos motivan a seguir trabajando por los valores que nos identifican.
