This next season where actually rain began to fail two weeks ago scantling I can say this categorically that there is more 2 what is called fresh fruit production. Although in the northern part of Nigeria they have been producing fresh fruits and food even with the both season. This is what I mean they produce food and fruit in the dry season as well as raining season but for us in the western region the food actually is more during the rainy season. just take for instance the likes of green vegetables tomatoes and so on. So it is a good thing to talk about when it comes to the fruit production and here in ilorin kwara State Nigeria we have some people who are majorly into days and distribute it to some local retailers.
This man working so hard is distributor of watermelon here in ilorin town. With the little chat and discussion I made with him, he told me that close to 10 retailers always come and pack them all, the watermelon from him because stand as a major distributor of watermelon which I have never heard of before . I took some pictures of the fruit I met at the moment. Although he has other fruit.
This is the man himself who actually comes very early in the morning to prepare ahead for those who are coming to Pack watermelon in bags from him. He doesn't really have apprentice he does his work by himself.
He also has other fruits such as pineapple and so on. But he's into watermelon fully.
I also saw bananas in which he actually showcase for sale. The business is really encouraging but for the very hard working people.
I also saw fresh apples. This kind of fruit my mum actually love to eat and also my little daughter.
