¿De qué se trata? What is it about?

El primero de ellos es mi anillo de graduación, hace 5 años obtuve mi segundo título universitario razón por la cual era motivo de celebración para los miembros más cercanos de mi familia, recuerdo perfectamente que siempre había querido un anillo que simbólicamente representara mis estudios académicos, pero, como cosa rara en Venezuela para darse un “gustico” de este tipo hay que pensarlo varias veces. Ciertamente, el valor para aquel momento era muy elevado que no podía cubrir con mi salario, pues yo quería algo muy lindo que seguramente conservaría para siempre. Sorpresivamente, mi padre días antes del acto solemne nos obsequió a mi gemela @mariangeltp y a mi tan maravilloso regalo, no se pueden imaginar la alegría que sentíamos, era un anillo muy hermoso, hecho en plata de muy buena calidad, el mío traía grabado las iniciales de mis hijos, tenía la piedra del color que representa mi carrera por la cual estaba egresando y las iniciales de mi querida universidad. Todo fue perfecto, pude lucirlo el día de la misa y del acto de grado. Lastimosamente, ya no puedo usarlo como de costumbre porque preferí guardarlo y no exponerlo ya que representa un valor sentimental bastante importante para mí.

The first of them is my graduation ring, 5 years ago I got my second university degree which was a reason for celebration for the closest members of my family, I remember perfectly that I had always wanted a ring that symbolically represented my academic studies, but, as a rare thing in Venezuela to give yourself a "treat" of this type you have to think about it several times. Certainly, the value for that moment was very high that I could not cover with my salary, because I wanted something very nice that I would surely keep forever. Surprisingly, days before the solemn act, my father gave my twin @mariangeltp and me such a wonderful gift, you can not imagine the joy we felt, it was a very beautiful ring, made of silver of very good quality, mine was engraved with the initials of my children, had the stone of the color that represents my career for which I was graduating and the initials of my beloved university. Everything was perfect, I could wear it the day of the mass and the graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, I can no longer wear it as usual because I preferred to keep it and not expose it as it represents a very important sentimental value for me.

En segundo lugar, se trata de una pulsera tricolor (Amarillo, azul y rojo) que en una oportunidad me obsequio un estudiante. Se convirtió en especial porque los colores representan a la bandera de mi país y para ese justo momento era un regalo de despedida de aquel inteligente niño junto a su amada familia. Lamentablemente, estas personas emigraron de Venezuela en búsqueda de mejor futuro, tristemente no mantengo contacto con ninguno de ellos, pero, al ver ese objeto me recuerda las motivaciones por la cuales se marcharon a otros horizontes. Les confieso que guardo muy celosamente estas prendas y que las uso en momentos muy puntuales. Pido a Dios les conceda todas sus metas y que al volver a nuestra nación sea yo nuevamente su maestra querida.

Secondly, it is a tricolor bracelet (yellow, blue and red) that was once given to me by a student. It became special because the colors represent the flag of my country and for that very moment it was a farewell gift from that intelligent boy and his beloved family. Sadly, these people emigrated from Venezuela in search of a better future, sadly I do not keep in touch with any of them, but, seeing that object reminds me of the motivations for which they left for other horizons. I confess that I keep these items very jealously and I use them at very specific moments. I ask God to grant them all their goals and that when they return to our nation, I will be their beloved teacher once again.
