Un comedor natural / A natural dining room

Traje una hoja grande,
de una especie importante
es de un árbol de aguacate,
que hallé en el suelo sin novedades.

I brought a large leaf,
of an important species
it is from an avocado tree,
which I found on the ground with no news.

Con esta planeo hacer,
una mesa para sobre ella comer,
es que quiero algo natural,
que se vea bien con la decoración del lugar.

With this one I plan to make,
a table to eat on,
is that I want something natural,
that looks good with the decoration of the place.

Mi idea no funcionó como pensé,
el viento se la lleva sin decir porque,
seguramente la regresa a su lugar
y yo, me quedo sin sobre que cenar.

My idea didn't work as I thought it would,
the wind blows it away without saying why,
it surely returns it to its place
and me, I'm left with no envelope for dinner.

Y así fue como un comedor natural,
se marchó del lugar,
volando con afán,
enseñándome que a la madre tierra se debe cuidar.

And so it was as a natural eater,
left the place,
flying with eagerness,
teaching me that mother earth must be cared for.
