Un suceso gracioso ha pasado,
cuando fui a darme un baño,
en la tina había movimientos raros
y entre burbujas se observaba algo.
Me acerqué y con mi brazo,
agarré lo que se estaba bañando,
era una hoja de algún árbol,
que quiso refrescarse un rato.
A funny thing happened,
when I went to take a bath,
in the bathtub there were strange movements
and between bubbles something was observed.
I approached and with my arm, I
grabbed what was bathing,
it was a leaf of some tree,
which wanted to cool off for a while.
La dejé a un lado y me marché,
pero la hoja no quería obedecer,
de nuevo al agua saltó
y continuó su baño con diversión.
De nuevo de la tina la saqué
y esta vez una toalla le pasé,
para que se secará bien
y a su hogar regresará limpia esta vez.
I put her aside and left,
but the leaf did not want to obey, she
jumped back into the water
and continued her bath with fun.
Again from the tub I took her out
and this time I passed her a towel,

and return home clean this time.
La hoja bien se secó,
y con tanta fuerza que frizz le salió,
con su cabello despeinado se marchó,
mientras a la tone ingresé yo.
Me bañé con agrado,
necesitaba refrescarme un rato,
no pensé que mi lugar había sido ocupado,
por una hoja que a su hogar a regresado.
The leaf dried well,
and with so much strength that frizz came out,
with her hair disheveled she left,
while I entered the tone.
I bathed with pleasure, I
needed to refresh myself for a while, I
