Hace unos días,
encontré una grieta amarilla,
en la pared residia,
pero, no la invité, llegó sólita
y aquí se quedó la abusiva.
Intente sacarla de aquí
y se adhirió con fuerza sin fin
mejor, la dejé ahí
y traje un sillón para mí,
para acompañarla y que este feliz.
A few days ago,
I found a yellow crack

Me subí al sofá con afán,
para agarrar aquella hoja fugaz,
con esfuerzo la pude alcanzar
y al tenerla en frente, pensé algo más,
que con su color, calidez podría generar.
La coloqué en la chimenea
y aquella hoja se sintió contenta,
con su brillo iluminó la pieza
y yo me dormí en la calidez bella,
hasta que la hoja se esfumó de la escena.
I climbed onto the sofa with eagerness,
to grab that fleeting leaf,
with effort I could reach it
and having it in front of me, I thought of something else,
that with its color, warmth could be generated.
I placed it on the fireplace
and that leaf felt happy,
with its brightness it illuminated the room
and I fell asleep in the beautiful warmth,
until the leaf vanished from the scene.
