LA CARIDAD SOBRE RUEDAS (MODO CUARENTENA)

La realidad que atraviesa el mundo entero con la presencia del Covid19, ha golpeado muchos espacios de nuestras vidas, sin embargo, hay sectores y/o personas más afectadas aún y son los más pobres entre los pobres.
Son personas y familias enteras que su economía depende del comercio o trabajo informal o rubros que durante la cuarentena se ven detenidos por lo que no entra dinero en sus bolsillos, padecen duras condiciones de hambre, sin mencionar la angustia y preocupación del día a día.
Son están personas a las que con sus recursos de existencia no les ha sido posible tomar medidas preventivas para el aislamiento social y como siempre digo, el "quédate en casa" les resulta absurdo pues si no mueren por el virus mueren de hambre.

En medio de toda esta triste situación, han surgido en todo el mundo experiencia de solidaridad que mueven corazones y hoy les vengo a contar una de ellas...

A este servicio le han llamado la "Bici ruta de la caridad"

UN SACERDOTE HA SALIDO DE MISIÓN CON UN VOLUNTARIO A REPARTIR COMIDAS DE CASA EN CASA A LOS ABUELOS MÁS POBRES Y SOLOS DE LA COMUNIDAD.

El servicio comienza con mujeres voluntarias que se reúnen a preparar los alimentos que han sido donados por otros miembros de la comunidad y algunos comercios del sector.

Cuando todos los alimentos están embazados, estos dos hombres salen en lo que graciosamente alguien dijo el delivery de la caridad y emprenden su ruta de servicio.

De casa en casa reciben la bendición de estos abuelos, quienes los esperan con sus platos vacíos para alimentar sus cuerpos y sonreír con el alma.

Yo tuve la gran oportunidad de acompañarles un día y documentar la experiencia sobre ruedas, grabando y capturando imágenes, lo que sin duda tocó mi corazón. Ver como primeramente hay personas capaces de entregar su tiempo y dejar sus comodidades e incluso exponerse a salir a las calles ademas de gestionar los recursos para mantener esta obra es tan valioso y luego ver a estos abuelos que esperan con tanto cariño la llegada de estos ángeles.

Es importante mencionar que en este contexto de salud pública, durante todo momento hubo las correctas medidas de seguridad para proteger a los abuelos y algunos niños, por lo que se mantuvo una distancia prudencial y en algunos casos se donaron tapabocas a quien no tenía.

Todo lo que aquí describo y represento con las imágenes es en una comunidad pobre de Boraure, Municipio La Trinidad en mi estado Yaracuy y los personajes son miembros de un grupo de voluntarios llamado Cáritas de la iglesia católica (al que por cierto yo también pertenezco pero en mi parroquia) e iniciaron este servicio comenzando la cuarentena en la segunda semana del mes de marzo, los días lunes, miércoles y viernes, atendiendo a 60 abuelos y algunos niños hasta ahora.

In the midst of all this sad situation, experiences of solidarity that move hearts have arisen throughout the world and today I come to tell you about one of them ...

This service has been called the **"Bike route of charity" **

A PRIEST HAS GONE FROM MISSION WITH A VOLUNTEER TO DELIVER MEALS FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE TO THE POOREST AND ONLY GRANDPARENTS IN THE COMMUNITY.

The service begins with women volunteers who meet to prepare the food that has been donated by other members of the community and some businesses in the sector.

When all the food is packed, these two men come out in what amusingly someone said the ** charity delivery ** and set out on their service route.

From house to house they receive the blessing of these grandparents, who wait for them with their empty plates to feed their bodies and smile with the soul.

I had the great opportunity to accompany them one day and document the experience on wheels, recording and capturing images, which undoubtedly touched my heart. Seeing how there are people who are able to give their time and leave their comforts and even expose themselves to the streets in addition to managing the resources to maintain this work is so valuable and then see these grandparents who are waiting with so much love for the arrival of these angels .

It is important to mention that in this context of public health, at all times there were the correct security measures to protect grandparents and some children, so a prudent distance was maintained and in some cases, masks were donated to those who did not have them.

All that I describe and represent here with the images is in a poor community of Boraure, La Trinidad Municipality in my Yaracuy state and the characters are members of a group of volunteers called Cáritas of the Catholic Church (to which by the way I also belong but in my parish) and started this service beginning the quarantine in the second week of March, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, serving 60 grandparents and some children so far.
