We cut the cardstock to then line the cardboard tube. My cardboard is black, so I will make a black cat 😊.

Se le coloca bastante pega a todo el tubo a su alrededor para que la cartulina quede bien pegada.

The whole tube is glued all around so that the cardboard is well glued.

Cómo va a ser un portalápices, se le debe colocar una base, yo tenía está cartulina anaranjada, pero igual se puede hacer con el mismo color que elegiste para forrar el tubo. Se marca el círculo y se recorta. Puedes hacerlo del mismo tamaño o un poquito más grande, para que tenga más soporte.

As it is going to be a pencil holder, a base must be placed, I had this orange cardboard, but it can still be made with the same color you chose to line the tube. The circle is marked and cut out. You can make it the same size or a little bigger, so that it has more support.

Se realizan la forma de las orejas del gato, su parte externa con cartulina y la parte interna con hoja y se deja recortada para el siguiente paso.

The shape of the cat's ears is made, the outer part with cardboard and the inner part with foil and left cut out for the next step.

Para la forma de la cara, se dibujan los ojos y boca, para luego ser recortados.

For the shape of the face, the eyes and mouth are drawn and then cut out.

Acá ya tenemos todo casi listo, solo se debe pegar en lo que va a representar la cara del gato.

Here we have everything almost ready, we only have to glue it on what will represent the cat's face.

Casi terminamos, así que procedemos a pegar todas nuestras piezas, la base, las orejas, los ojos y boca.

We are almost done, so we proceed to glue all our pieces, the base, ears, eyes and mouth.
