Halloween night is approaching and this is a great time to have parties and gatherings with friends, so today I will prepare an easy, inexpensive and delicious recipe ideal for this date, some rich and crispy skulls and corn, carrot and bacon bones.

Se acerca la noche de halloween y este es un gran momento para hacer fiestas y reuniones con los amigos, por ello hoy prepararé una receta fácil, económica y deliciosa ideal para esta fecha, unas ricas y crujientes calaveras y huesitos de maíz, zanahoria y tocineta.

You will need the following ingredients:

Necesitarás los siguientes ingredientes:

• 1/2 cup finely grated carrot.
• 1/2 cup of cornmeal.
• 1/3 cup of bacon.
• 1/3 cup of water.
• Salt and pepper.
• Oil for frying.
• 1 wooden plate to shape the skulls.

• 1/2 taza de zanahoria rallada finamente.
• 1/2 taza de harina de maíz.
• 1/3 de taza de tocineta.
• 1/3 de taza de agua.
• Sal y pimienta.
• Aceite para freír.
• 1 platillo de madera para dar forma a las calaveras.

Initially, we pour the cornmeal into a container, then we add the health pepper.

Inicialmente, vertimos la harina de maíz en un recipiente, seguidamente agregamos la salud pimienta.

Add the chopped bacon and the grated carrot.

Adicionamos la tocineta picada y la zanahoria rallada.

Add the water and knead to form a compact dough.

Agregamos el agua y amasamos hasta formar una masa compacta.

We take small portions and form balls, with the wooden toothpick we mark an arc at the bottom to make its mouth.

Tomamos pequeñas porciones y formamos bolitas, con el palillo de madera marcamos un arco en la parte inferior para hacer su boca.

Next, we make the eye sockets by making two holes and a small nose.

Luego, hacemos las cavidades oculares haciendo dos agujeros y una pequeña nariz.

Finally, we fry in oil until golden brown.

Finalmente, freímos en aceite hasta dorar.
