Hola mis amigos de hive blog en esta oportunidad quiero presentarles una de las comidas típicas de mi país Venezuela, que son las empanadas; estás se puede rellenar de cualquier tipo de proteínas. En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes unas empanadas rellenas de pescado específicamente de atún. Escogí el atún porque es rico en proteínas que a muchos niños les cuesta consumirla y que mejor ocasión que incorporarlas en una empanada para que las disfruten.
Los ingredientes que utilice fueron los siguientes:
Para el relleno: Atún desmenuzado, 1 pimentón, 1 cebolla, onoto en polvo, sal al gusto.

I chose tuna because it is rich in proteins that many children find it difficult to consume and what better occasion than to incorporate them into an empanada for them to enjoy.
The ingredients I used were the following:
For the filling: Shredded tuna, 1 paprika, 1 onion, powdered onoto, salt to taste.
Para la masa tenemos: harina pan, azúcar, sal, y para freírla aceite.
For the dough we have: bread flour, sugar, salt, and oil for frying.
Modo de preparación:
Primeramente para guisar el atún desmenuzado, picamos muy chiquitico el pimentón y la cebolla y la ponemos a sofreír con un poquito de aceite agregamos la sal el color y lo renovemos a Fuego lento.
Preparation method:Firstly, to cook the shredded tuna, we chop the paprika and onion very small and put it to fry with a little oil, add the salt, the color and renew it over a low heat.
Terminado la cocción agregamos el atún desmenuzado hasta que esté absorba el buen gusto para retirarlo de la candela y dejarlo reposar.
After cooking, add the shredded tuna until it absorbs the good taste to remove it from the heat and let it rest.
Para preparar la masa: En un recipiente colocamos la harina agregamos sal y azúcar al gusto, en este caso más azúcar que sal y vamos agregando suficiente agua a la harina hasta obtener una masa manejable y suave.
To prepare the dough: In a container we place the flour, add salt and sugar to taste, in this case more sugar than salt and we add enough water to the flour until we obtain a manageable and soft dough.
Después procedemos a armar cada empanada. para esto se toma una pequeña cantidad de la masa ya preparada hacemos una bola y la extendemos sobre un papel plástico que esté en una superficie plana.
Then we proceed to assemble each empanada. For this, a small amount of the already prepared dough is taken, we make a ball and spread it on a plastic paper that is on a flat surface.
Luego colocamos el relleno, sellamos doblando la otra mitad y sacamos el molde de la empanada que es como la figura de una media luna.
Then we put the filling, we seal by folding the other half and we take out the pie mold that is like the figure of a half moon.
Para finalizar en un sartén con suficiente aceite caliente colocamos la empanada y esperamos a que se cocine por ambos lados y la retiramos. Al final podemos disfrutar de una deliciosa empanada de atún.
To finish in a pan with enough hot oil we place the patty and wait for it to cook on both sides and remove it. At the end we can enjoy a delicious tuna patty.
