The sudden break in my lane of thought caused by the ring tone of my small Tecno phone. Shit! This thing is loud probably because it was midnight or simply because it was a China phone. I was hesitated to pick initially because whatever I was thinking about must have been very good or may be sexual, yeah. It was my meditating spot just outside the house, enjoying the cool breeze and letting my mind stray without control.

I said to myself who could be calling at this hour, as I checked the bright screen of the phone and quickly picked the call, "Please come inside, I see something in the shadows" were the words I heard. my face went pale from whatever imagination that came to my mind, fear gripped me as if darkness had befallen the world. If you know me very well you will know I'm not usually scared of the dark but you see those things that creep or follow the story line of those scary movies really freaks me out.

I quickly pushed away whatever scary thought that was displaying in my head as i got up and summoned the last courage in me. Only because girl call me and I want show say I be real man.
A man has got to be a man spat out of my mouth like I was trying to convince my self but my legs were acting otherwise.

After about what felt like forever to get to the passage that led to the restroom, I met her and she told me that something like a broom was standing upright and dancing in front of the toilet. In my mind I was like, 'Ohhh God! Why did this girl call me? So it's me that should now die? Why are people not God fearing like this?'

I glanced at what she was pointing at and I went numb. I swear man cannot be man in this case o. The object standing upright was a broom. Firstly, can a broom stand upright? Even if it stands, should it be dancing? I turned to ask what the fuck she was looking for in the middle of the night but I already guess the answer.
Courage has not finished from wherever it came from so I moved closer the broom fell. I ran like I was doing music video for the song scatter by fireboy. If you were in my shoes you would run too.

I woke up the next morning only to discover it was truely a broom and was moving because of the heavy breeze blowing the previous night. My hand don finally fall but it was worth it.
