Yesterday around noon, after checking the weather and realizing that the colder days are about to start, we made a quick decision to go to the forests a little higher than where we live.
Many days had passed since we bought our new boots and we still hadn't tested them. For this purpose and of course walking in the weather that is still pleasant late this Autumn, we realized that we only have a few hours.
After gathering our things and taking care of some unexpected stuff, we finally put Milo in the car around two in the afternoon and headed towards the nearest forest peak, "Tirkan Peak", and we even ate our sandwich while driving. After entering the forest, we saw that the dirt road is of good quality because it is dry, and we can drive a few kilometers ahead of the place where we intended to park and get a little ahead of time.
We had walked this beautiful path several times before in different seasons and we had not always managed to reach the desired peak because of the mud.
Like us, Milo was in a hurry to move forward and seemed to want to make the most of this excursion before it got dark.
We walked with a fast rhythm and very soon, as our heart rate increased, we were completely in phase with the beautiful environment around us
After a few kilometers, we reached an uphill and continued without stopping. The last local hut was located before the steep slope and the shepherd dogs barked loudly and came to Milo.
We socialized with the forest man and we continued on our way. The dogs followed us as long as they had breath
After climbing that steep slope, we reached this forest peak right after sunset. @sabajfa was very satisfied.
Unfortunately, the weather was foggy in the lower altitudes and the surrounding scenery was not visible.
We quickly lit a fire. We drank coffee and walked back in the wonderful darkness of the forest.
The forest man was very surprised when saw us walking in darkness and invited us for tea, but we apologized, promised for the next time and continued on our way back.
3 hours later we had dinner in a clean, warm and soft place to complete our joyful night when the temperature had fallen about 10 degree.
One Chelo kebab was enough for two of us, while Milo waiting in the car.
