RE: [ESP/ENG] MI PRIMERA ADQUISICIÓN CON HIVE // MY FIRST ACQUISITION WITH HIVE

in GEMS4 years ago (edited)

Hello @edcraft I saw your post in The Terminal discord promo room and decided to visit as I remember you joined as one of our young adults. What a lovely post telling how you spent your first payout on Hive for food for your family. Yes, you could have purchased earphone and saved up for a mobile phone for yourself. However, you chose to spend it on your family.

The feeling of being able to help out at home when it's needed is important for a young man of 17 . That's how you learn to take care of your own family one day. You provide for your spouse and children first. Then take care of your elderly parents if they are still with you. Your father seems like a wonderful man to have instilled in you family values. I applaud him for that.

I don't blame you for wanting to try coffee. I love it myself. And strawberry jelly and jam is my favorite.

The smile on your sister's face is all that is needed for her to show you her appreciation for thinking of her.

I'll always remember your post as an inspiration to others in time of hardship. It's your choices in life that define you. And you have taken on the responsibilities and rose to the occasion.

Your post touched me also because as a teenager, I got a part-time job to help my family. I remember us going to the store and hoping the money we had was enough and would not run over. I was so worried we would have to put some items back and the shoppers behind us would be looking at us because we were poor. It's a devastating feeling for a young person to shoulder.

I know you will have an awesome journey on Hive.

Take care, stay safe for your family, and have a good rest of your week.
