El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que hago en mi trabajo. Actualmente me dedico al tapizando base camas y también los cabeceros de las bases. A continuación les compartiré las fotografías del paso a paso del tapizado de la base cama.

Today I want to share with you what I do at work. Currently I am dedicated to upholstering bed bases and also the headboards of the bases. Next I will share the photographs of the step by step of the upholstery of the bed base.

Hoy les compartiré el paso a paso del tapizado de una base cama, en esta ocasión es una base especial ya que normalmente se hacen en cuero negro. Hoy veremos una Base cama para niño de la película Cars.
Today I will share the step by step of the upholstery of a bed base, this time it is a special base since they are normally made of black leather. Today we will see a bed base for children from the movie Cars.
Materiales Para Tapizar

No son muchos los materiales que se usan para el tapizado de una base cama pero son los suficientes para transformar un armazón de madera en una linda base cama.
- Cartón.
- Tela Decorada.
- Patas Plásticas.
- Espuma Continua.
- Brione.
- Tornillos.
- Grapas.
- Vinipel.
There are not many materials that are used for the upholstery of a bed base but they are enough to transform a wooden frame into a beautiful bed base.
- Paperboard.
- Decorated fabric.
- Plastic Legs.
- Continuous foam.
- Brione.
- Screws.
- Staples.
- Vinipel.
Paso a Paso del Tapizado
Step by Step of the Upholstery
Lo primero que hago a la hora de tapizar una base cama es forrar en cartón los que llamamos Esqueleto, este proceso lo llamo encartonado del esqueleto. El esqueleto es el armazón que compone la base cama.
The first thing I do when upholstering a bed base is to cover in cardboard what we call Skeleton, this process I call cartoning the skeleton. The skeleton is the frame that makes up the bed base.

Luego del encartonado el siguiente paso que debo hacer es forrar en espuma continua la base cama encima del cartón. Esto lo hago para que la base quede bien acolchada.
After cartoning the next step I must do is to cover the bed base on the cardboard with continuous foam. I do this so that the base is well padded.

Ya en este paso ira cogiendo mejor forma la base cama, luego de haber puesto la espuma muy acolchada procedo a poner la tela de decoración de cars por toda la base cama.
Already in this step it will take the bed base better shape, after having put the very padded foam I proceed to put the decoration fabric of cars all over the bed base.
Ya casi terminare la base cama, en este paso debo poner el brione que es una tela que le da el acabado a la base cama.
I will almost finish the bed base, in this step I must put the brione which is a fabric that gives the finish to the bed base.

Por ultimo le pondremos las patas a la base cama asegurándola con tornillos. Esto es lo que sostendrá la base cama en el suelo.
Finally we will put the legs to the bed base securing it with screws. This is what will hold the bed base on the floor.
Aquí podrás ver la base cama tapizada totalmente, lo ultimo que haremos es envolverla en Vinipel para entregarla al cliente.
Here you can see the fully upholstered bed base, the last thing we will do is wrap it in Vinipel to deliver it to the client.

Así finalmente es como se le entrega la base cama al cliente.
