I really liked the concept, so I wanted to give it my own personal touch. With that said, here is the process of creating my illustration
Me gustó mucho el concepto, así que quise darle mi propio toque personal. Dicho esto, a continuación les mostrare el proceso de creación de mi ilustración.
Drawing pencils // Lápices de dibujo: 2h, H, Hb, b, 6b.
Eraser // Goma de borrar.
Thread paper // papel de hilo.
As always, I start by making a sketch of it, to get an idea of where everything will go.
Como siempre, empiezo haciendo un boceto de la misma, para tener una idea de donde ira cada cosa.
Then, I make a much cleaner sketch on another piece of paper and start shaping it.
Luego, hago un boceto mucho más limpio en otro papel y sobre este empiezo darle forma.
I start by highlighting with an hb pencil, the first lines, starting with the head, from top to bottom, so as not to stain the drawing with graphite as I bring it to life.
Empiezo remarcando con un lapiz hb, las primeras líneas, empezando por la cabeza, de arriba hacia abajo, para no manchar de grafito el dibujo a medida que le vaya dando vida.
At the same time I am generating the shadows from this type of shading, the "cross hatching", because I really like the finish, and I am also practicing, it because although I draw as a hobby, I am interested in continuing to learn and improve.
Al mismo tiempo voy generando las sombras a partir de este tipo de sombreado, el "cross hatching", ya que me gusta mucho el acabado, además así lo voy practicando, ya que a pesar de que dibujo por hobby, me interesa seguir aprendiendo y mejorando.
I am slowly moving forward, giving more life to the face and drawing more and more shadows and details.
Lentamente voy avanzando, dándole mas vida al rostro y dibujando cada vez mas sombras y detalles.
With the face finished, I start to spread across the suit, giving it a coat with a B pencil and then highlighting with a 6B pencil, giving myself time to darken it.
For the shadows and other details, I used a 2H and B pencil for the most part.
Con la cara terminada, empiezo a extenderme por el traje, dándole una capa con un lápiz B y luego remarcando con un lápiz 6B, dándome el tiempo para oscurecerlo.
Para las sombras y otros detalles, utilicé un lápiz 2H y B en su mayor parte.
With most of the costume done, I highlight and shade the hands, the gun and the watch of my character. Once this is done, the character is practically ready, I just need to fine tune some details and finish painting the jacket.
Ya con la mayoría del traje hecho, remarco y sombreo las manos, la pistola y el reloj de mi personaje. Hecho esto, el personaje está prácticamente listo, solo faltaría afinar unos detalles y terminar de pintar el saco.
And this is the final result, after approximately 4 hours of drawing. The truth is that I was quite pleased with the result, I feel that I really gave it my own personal touch and I hope you liked it as much as I did.
Y este es el resultado final, después de aproximadamente 4 horas de dibujo. La verdad quede bastante a gusto con el resultado, siento que efectivamente le di mi propio toque personal y espero que a ustedes les haya gustado tanto como a mí.
