Well, this Wednesday, Ema and I will share an interesting recipe for you to try at home. This cake is called lamington, who among you has heard of this cake from Australia? This cake comes from Australia and how to make this Lamington cake is very simple. well, the ingredients you have to prepare to make this lamington cake are of course very cheap and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market. The first ingredients you have to prepare are 4 egg yolks, 4 egg whites, liquid margarine, flour, sugar, salt, strawberry jam, baking powder, milk powder, vanilla powder, chocolate bars and desiccated coconut. after you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start the first step.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare a bowl and put 4 egg yolks, 1 sachet of vanilla powder and half a teaspoon of salt. Then, beat until the egg yolks are slightly frothy and well mixed.

the second step, after the egg yolks have been beaten until slightly frothy, then all you have to do is prepare another bowl, then put 4 egg whites and a little lime juice so that it expands perfectly. then, mix the egg whites until slightly frothy.

the third step, after the egg whites are slightly frothy, then add gradually 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar while in the mixer. Next, mix until white, expand and trail at full speed.

the fourth step, after the egg white dough is white, expands and traces, the next thing you have to do is take a little egg white dough and put the egg white mixture into the egg yolk. Next, stir slowly until well blended.

the fifth step, after the egg whites have been mixed well with the egg yolks, then prepare a sieve and sieve 110 grams of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 2 tablespoons of powdered milk. eggs into the egg yolks and then stir gently until well blended.

the sixth step, after everything is well mixed, then add 4 tablespoons of melted margarine. then, stir again the dough until there is no liquid margarine deposits remaining.

the seventh step, after the dough is finished, then prepare a baking sheet and line the pan with parchment paper like the photo above. then, slowly enter the dough into the pan and tap the pan so that no air is trapped in the dough.

the eighth step, after you have put the dough into the pan, then prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 5 minutes. Next, enter the baking sheet and bake the dough at a temperature of 170 or 180 degrees Celsius, with top and bottom fire for 30 or 40 minutes depending on the oven you use.

the ninth step, while the dough is baked for 40 minutes, the next thing you have to prepare is to prepare a bowl and put 150 grams of chocolate bars and 112 ml of liquid milk. then, melt the chocolate bars over boiling water while you stir so that it quickly melts.

the tenth step, after you have melted the chocolate bar to completion, the next thing you have to do is remove the cake from the oven and then cut the cake into several pieces like the photo above.

the eleventh step, after the cake has been cut into several pieces, then dip the cake evenly into the melted chocolate bar. Repeat until all the cakes are done.

the last step, after all the cakes have been dipped in melted chocolate, then prepare a plate and put all the dried coconut into the plate. after that, spread all the cakes into the dry coconut until evenly distributed like the photo above. Now, for other options, you can add fillings such as strawberries and others. Split the sponge into 2 parts and then put the jam to your liking.

and finally, you can serve lamington cake for your family and friends. the texture of this lamington cake is really very soft and everything is so perfect. some of my friends liked it very much and asked us to make it again. we feel happy because we managed to make this lamington cake. Whoaa, I never tried lamington cake, even though I have dried grated coconut left over from making coconut roma cake. I've seen this recipe from channel youtube chef Luvita Ho, I wanted to try it but I'm afraid to fail and don't know how the original taste of lamington cake. Thanks for the recipe!
