Dzigbordi usually helps me out in the garden and always loves it. But yesterday when I went she was busy with a shoot so I went on my own. The main thing that needed to be done was weeding.
I got about half way through weeding the main bed when I decided to prune back the pumpkin and harvest some moringa to open up the space some and make weeding easier.
I loaded the solar dryer with a lot of moringa. When it dries a little bit I will remove the stems and compost them.
I then completed all the weeding, I then added a bag and half of chicken manure and some more mulch on top of that and did some watering.
I have some new tomatoes coming which is great because they are very expensive in the market now.
Last thing to do was to spray to try to prevent some pests. Here I have an old cleaner bottle with a mixture of neem oil, citronella oil and a little black soap all mixed up. I spray my herbs and seed bed to try to prevent them from being eaten.
All another days work at the garden.
