Good evening everyone in Gems, continuing with the theme of yesterday's post, today we will continue talking about the tools that a Bartender must have for an optimal performance when preparing cocktails and working at the bar.

Buenas noches tengan todos en Gems, continuando con la temática del post de ayer, el día de hoy vamos a seguir hablando de las herramientas que tiene que tener un Bartender para un optimo desempeño a la hora de preparar cócteles y el trabajo en la barra.

As we can see in the photographs, it is a spoon with a somewhat peculiar shape, is elongated (this in particular is 30cm but there are longer, 45cm -60cm)

It has a specific capacity for solids in 1Tbs cocktails such as sugar, cocoa, among others.

Como podemos apreciar en las fotografías, es una cuchara con una forma un tanto peculiar, es alargada (esta en concreto es de 30cm pero las hay mas largas, 45cm -60cm)

Tiene una capacidad en especifico para los sólidos en los cócteles 1Tbs como lo puede ser la azúcar, el cacao, entre otros.

And on the opposite side of the spoon plate is usually accompanied by a trident, a kind of coin, a drop as in this case and various other accessories that have other functions or are merely decorative.

Personally, many cocktails can be made without the Spoon bar since its main function is to 'mix' and this can be replaced with a normal spoon or other utensil that we have in our house.

Y en la parte contraria al plato de la cuchara suele ir acompañado de un tridente, una especie de moneda, una gota como es este caso y diversos accesorios mas que tienen otras funciones o son meramente decorativos.

En lo personal se pueden hacer muchos cócteles sin la Spoon bar ya que su función principal es 'mezclar' y esto lo podemos reemplazar con una cucharilla normal u otro utensilio que tengamos en nuestra casa.
