RE: Bangladesh's Education System is Under Threat.

in GEMS4 years ago

Hi dear,
In fact your opinion is true. But there are some deserving people in Bangladesh and some educated people. Those who want can take the country forward. But some incompetent, incompetent people stand in front of them. They will not do good themselves, and they will not let anyone else do good. This is the main characteristic of the people of Bangladesh. That is why it is not possible for any good person to take this country forward. However, there are some good people in Bangladesh but they are afraid to come forward. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Thanks.

But the country needs more and that they don't leave the country to find a better life elsewhere. Months ago I watched a lecture where Bangladesh was cited as an example of the long term effects of "Brain Drain"(when a percentage too high of educated people either die or leave the country compared to general population) due to it's independence war against Pakistan. In Bangladesh's case it happened to be the 1971 Massacre of Intellectuals that caused the country to sink deep in decades of a vicious cycle of "uneducation" preventing life quality improvement which drove out of the country most educated people wanting to have a better live due to lack of opportunities caused again, by the previously mentioned "uneducation". It is a mechanism that once was started by the 1971 genocide, it was a very hard endeavor to stop.

Fortunately the situation there seems to be improving(too slow, but is better than nothing) but what happened must not be forgotten are there are currently other countries engaged in anti-education mentalities, causing its smartest citizens to flee, facilitating the power grab from their not-so-democratic rulers.

Never forget why education matters.

This there can be applied to any people that gets bullied into submission by those with power and influence. My country has similar problem.

Thanks for your good opinions.
