(ESP-ENG) Una Bella Sorpresa en mi Cumpleaños / A Beautiful Surprise on my Birthday

Hola amigos de Hive, hoy les quiero contar acerca de mi cumpleaños nro 24, ya que fue un día especial para mí. Les confieso que una semana antes me encontraba algo desanimada, debido a que estaba lejos de algunas personitas especiales, y el tema pandemia y la universidad sin clases me tenían algo frustrada, y bueno no se si les pasa pero a mi a veces me da algo de nostalgia el pensar en todas las cosas que he pasado durante ese año, yo le suelo llamar depre pre cumple.

Hello friends from Hive, today I want to tell you about my 24th birthday, as it was a special day for me. I confess that a week before I was somewhat discouraged, because I was far from some special little people, and the pandemic issue and the university without classes had me somewhat frustrated, and well I don't know if it happens to them but sometimes it gives me something from nostalgia to think about all the things that I have gone through during that year, I usually call it pre-birthday depression.

La verdad no tenía planes de hacer nada especial, pero me lleve una bonita sorpresa ese día, les cuento yo estaba dormida cuando a las 8 de la mañana mi teléfono comienza a sonar, era una llamada de mi novio, la contesté medio dormida, duramos un rato hablando, y él me dice que debería salir de la cama e ir a desayunar, en ese momento escuché un ruido afuera, y al salir de mi cuarto me encontré con una torta bellísima encima del comedor, la expresión de mi cara fue única, me puse sentimental, y por mis mejillas bajaban algunas lágrimas de felicidad obviamente, mientras mi novio me decía sorpresa al otro lado del teléfono, resulta que mis amigas y él habían planeado ese lindo detalle. Casualmente unos días antes me habían hecho algunas preguntas, y la noche anterior una de mis amigas me dice no te acuestes tarde, pero yo no caí en cuenta que estaban planeando algo.

The truth was I had no plans to do anything special, but I was given a nice surprise that day, I'll tell you I was asleep when at 8 in the morning my phone started ringing, it was a call from my boyfriend, I answered it half asleep, we lasted A while talking, and he tells me that I should get out of bed and go to breakfast, at that moment I heard a noise outside, and when I left my room I found a beautiful cake on top of the dining room, the expression on my face was unique , I got sentimental, and some tears of happiness obviously fell down my cheeks, while my boyfriend said surprise to me on the other side of the phone, it turns out that my friends and he had planned that nice detail. Coincidentally, a few days before they had asked me some questions, and the night before one of my friends told me not to stay up late, but I did not realize that they were planning something.

La torta era de fresas con chocolate, como se los mencione en mi post de presentación me encanta la fresa, es una de mi frutas favoritas, y el chocolate simplemente como no amarlo. El resto del día lo pasé súper consentida por mi familia, quienes también me sorprendieron con algunos regalitos, y me complacieron en todo lo que quería comer ese día.

The cake was made of strawberries with chocolate, as I mentioned in my presentation post, I love strawberries, it is one of my favorite fruits, and chocolate simply cannot be loved. The rest of the day was super spoiled by my family, who also surprised me with some little gifts, and they pleased me with everything I wanted to eat that day.

En la tarde realicé una video llamada con mis amigos, en la cual me reí bastante con las ocurrencias de cada uno, y luego me cantaron el cumpleaños. Para mí fue un detalle muy bonito, el saber que cuento con personas tan especiales en mi vida que aún en la distancia hicieron lo posible para hacerse sentir presentes, y darme mucho cariño.

In the afternoon I made a video call with my friends, in which I laughed a lot with each other's occurrences, and then they sang my birthday. For me it was a very nice detail, knowing that I have such special people in my life that even in the distance they did everything possible to make themselves feel present, and give me a lot of love.

En la noche llegó el momento que todos estaban esperando, picar la torta. Mi novio y mis amigas estaban preocupados de que no estuviera rica, pero esa torta me dejo sin palabras, estaba deliciosa, fue perfecta, tanto así que no quería que se acabará. Al final el día fue totalmente diferente y divertido a como lo esperaba, y aunque a veces pensemos que las cosas no salen como queremos hay personas que se encargan de demostrarnos que están ahí y nos brindan todo su cariño. At night the moment that everyone was waiting came, chopping the cake.
