I have been on and off on this Hive platform due to reasons beyond my control, I started this year with a delegated powers from @chicoduro but hasn't keep up with expectations due to several setbacks which in a normal circumstances he could've withdraw his power from me but he didn't despite not keeping it at work, though I later explained to him in part reason behind my absence.
It was that faithful morning I got a call from my mom who travelled home during the festive period on December but yet to return so she called me to go and get something she sent for us. I left that morning to the park with my two phones but that was one of my greatest mistake cause of the area I find myself.
I live in a big city and also a commercial hub in the eastern part of Nigeria, Aba. Anybody who lives in a big city can tell what it looks like especially a commercial city which houses different types of people from different parts of the world, you can always expect anything and also be street wise. But on this particular day I "looseguard" cause I couldn't detect when my phone was taken away from me.
I was in a cab when the touts around the park area took away my phone without my notice. I lost everything, my hive keys cryptos which I lost some of their recovery phrase and to crown it all I also lost some raw cash which they fraudulently stole from my account with the phone. It was really hectic and I felt so devastated.
I took my second phone and log into my email and logged out my account from the other phone. But was still in deep pain. Someday I came across the hidden passwords I saved on Google, that was my hive generated key and I was able to log into my wallet and recovered my hive keys after downloading the PDF files. I thank God for the Hive teams and witnesses for making it easier for us to recover our account.
Now I feel happy to start again and hope this will last. On street level I have regain my security never to looseguard again. I live in a lion zone, survival of the fittest. I believe that my phone is gone and I've suffered that loses at the start but there's still more time to recover and hit up again.
Now I have seen so many changes on Hive and probably more to come. I'm yet to choose a favourite community where I will belong share thoughts and receive inspiration and upvotes. @gems community has always been very supportive to me on my hive journey and even my time on steemit. The point is every community has what they expect from their members with few supporting random posts that is natural but on my own as an individual I will take my time to make my posts positively and responsibly to grow Hive as a platform and to support my fellow hivians and help in contributing to the success of others.
