He Has Decided

in GEMS3 days ago

A historical moment and day for the firstborn. He professed his faith publicly and got water baptised. He was very nervous so he ended up speaking a lot but he did it. Am so so so proud of him to choose this by himself. As much as we have prepared him and shared our faith, now it is not only ours, but his too for he has chosen powerfully. As God continues to guide him and be His dependence, I bless him to always revere God and be loved by God, having a personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

He said, "I said I want to do it in the new year, and I did it." Yes you did and we celebrate you!

Interestingly, Levi always said he knows Jesus since he was born or even before that. He said it before he was baptised and he said it again in the car on our way home just now. He actually told me before some years back that he saw he exists in heaven already even before he came on earth to be born. I thought he has forgotten that but he told me again today. I am sure God has begun a good work in him when God has created him in His mind, even before I have him in my womb.

There were a total of 13 people who have decided to profess their faith that day. One of them is also my son's long lost older friend whom he met at a church camp many years ago when my son was just 3 years old. They met again after many years and my son was so excited to see him again.

Queueing by age! From the pldest to the youngest.

The oldest participant to be baptized was an old uncle! He is the father of a church friend from this church hosting the joint baptism with us. Oh my! My tears welled up and my heart swelled to see the elderly get baptized. Indeed Heaven rejoice and I too rejoice greatly together.

2 Corinthians 5:17 states, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new".

Indeed.
