Hola Hiver’s cómo están?, como siempre cada 2 semanas en mi casa toca ir al mercado a hacer las compras para la casa y en la actualidad como no podemos dejar el negocio de la casa cerrado, mi mamá y yo llegamos a un acuerdo, iríamos a hacer las compras por separado diferentes días, ella compraría los víveres y yo me encargaría de comprar las verduras y los vegetales.

As always, every 2 weeks in my house I have to go to the market to do the shopping for the house and at present since we cannot leave the house business closed, my mother and I reached an agreement, we would go to do the shopping separately on different days, she would buy the groceries and I would take care of buying the vegetables.
Para poder regresarme temprano y escoger con calma las cosas me levante y me fui temprano a eso de las 6 a.m. cuando últimamente está muy oscuro aun pero no sin antes desayunar, además siempre salgo algo renuente porque últimamente hace mucho frio y soy muy friolento, pero si no salgo a esa hora todo al momento de comprar se me complica, aunque igual por ese día en concreto que fui fue algo ajetreado.

Como fui un viernes el cual es un día en el que va mucha gente (aunque más los sábados), aunque con todo y eso se podía elegir con algo de tranquilidad. Como lo hago habitualmente entre primero en la feria “pequeña” (al ser la más barata de las 2) a comprar la mayoría de las verduras como los plátanos que siempre compro un promedio de 12~14 kg, las zanahorias de 4~5 kg y lo que pueda conseguir a un buen precio y que este en buen estado.
As I went on a Friday which is a day in which many people go (although more on Saturdays), although with everything and that you could choose with some tranquility. As I usually do, I go first to the “small” fair (being the cheapest of the 2) to buy most of the vegetables such as bananas that I always buy an average of 12 ~ 14 kg, carrots of 4 ~ 5 kg and what you can get at a good price and that is in good condition.
Ahora llego la hora de pasarme a la feria grande, donde normalmente compro las papas, unos 5 Kg aproximadamente, pero no estaban buenas por lo que pase de ellas y me enfoque en lo demás, como los pimentones, el cebollín y algunas cosas más. Para mi sorpresa me encontré con algo que tenía meses sin ver en la feria… los tomates, los que habían bastantes, donde aproveche en comprar todo lo que pude, ya que en mi casa lo volvemos salsa y los sellamos herméticamente para que no dure varias semanas de ser necesario.
Now it's time to go to the big fair, where I usually buy the potatoes, about 5 kg approximately, but they were not good because of what happened to them and I focus on the rest, such as peppers, chives and some other things. To my surprise I found something that I had not seen in the fair for months ... tomatoes, which were quite a few, where I took advantage of buying everything I could, since at my house we turn it into sauce and seal them hermetically so that it does not last several weeks if necessary.
A parte de eso me conseguí con una fruta que nunca había visto, el cual era algo parecido a una toronja pero era muy amarilla y suave, pregunte a las personas que estaban a mi alrededor y me dijeron que era limón pero no me convencía lo suficiente por lo que lo pellizque un poco para olerlo y efectivamente tenía el olor del limón, por lo que solo me lleve 2 para probar a ver qué tal eran.
Apart from that I got a fruit that I had never seen, which was something similar to a grapefruit but it was very yellow and soft, I asked the people who were around me and they told me it was lemon but I was not convinced enough so I pinched it a bit to smell it and it did indeed have the scent of lemon, so I only took 2 to test to see how they were.
Ya a las 8 a.m. estaba listo para irme y me di cuenta de un puesto que hicieron nuevo en la feria, en donde por iniciativa de los empleados de la propia feria, tenían a la venta al mayor y detal una variedad de chucherías. Me pareció una buena idea ya que para comprar ese tipo de cosas en la parte de víveres era muy engorroso, además de la larga cola que tenías que hacer para poder entrar.
Already at 8 a.m. I was ready to go and I noticed a new position at the fair, where at the initiative of the employees of the fair itself, they had a variety of trinkets for wholesale and retail. It seemed like a good idea to me since buying that kind of thing in the grocery section was very cumbersome, in addition to the long queue you had to do to enter.
Ahora si me dispuse a irme a mi casa, en donde me subí al autobús y llegue relativamente rápido. Descanse un rato en la casa antes de ponerme a lavar las verduras, las cuales siempre lavo de la misma manera como les explique anteriormente como lo hago.

Y así me fue en mi día de comprar las verduras, fue algo ajetreado de lo que normalmente pero con todo y eso fue un buen día de compras.
