Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes parte del trabajo que realizo a diario como promotora de salud. Ayer sábado salimos a realizar un acercamiento social a varias comunidades urbanas con un equipo de salud comprometido con la labor social. Este alcance fue con el propósito de capturar a algunas pacientes embarazadas que no estaban registradas en nuestros programas Maternos Infantiles. En estos programas ya una vez que captamos a las gestantes le llevamos un control medico, estar pendiente de sus ecos, sus vitaminas que las tome a tiempo, de su alimentacion balanceada y le hacemos un acompañamiento para que tenga una parto feliz y tengamos un niño sano y saludable, también le damos la Charla Educativa sobre la importancia de la lactancia materna para el pleno desarrollo y crecimiento del bebé.

A este Programa también lo llamamos Ruta Materno Infantil, y una vez que captamos a las gestantes son registradas dentro de nuestros programas de Planificación Familiar, se realiza este control tanto para que la madre como el niño esté bien alimentados, en este caso el niño sera alimentado somo y exclusivamente con la leche materna hasta los primeros 6 meses de vida.
