Misdiagnosed as Type 2 in 2009 (not treated by insulin when I should have been) and then diagnosed accurately as Type 1 in 2023. The doctors say it's taken 10-12 years off my life. Only when I'm dead will we know for sure though huh?

You need to see another doctor! But, seriously, how could they misdiagnose you like that? It's not right, especially in a country with a good healthcare system. I'm really sorry this happened to you. But you never know what life has in store. I read about a man who won 14 million and died the next day from a heart attack. So, let's appreciate our lives and do what makes us happy. Or?
