Last weekend, I decided to pack up my bags, jump in my car, and hit the open road for a weekend of adventure (or lack thereof) in the middle of nowhere. It was just what I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and find myself in the beauty of mother nature.
As I drove along my way in no particular direction (because being a directionless fart is a speciality of mine), I couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and excitement. With each moment and stretch on the road that passed, the stress of everyday life melted away and was replaced with a sense of peace and tranquility. I rolled down my windows(well, I actually just pressed a button... but whatever haha), turned up my favorite tunes, and let the wind rush through my hair as I watched the world swooooosh by... (and very definitely kept my eyes on the road and not on the glorious scenery hehe).
Eventually and after several city girl phone calls, I found the perfect spot to stay. It was a gigantic house, fit for many, but I had it all to myself. It was just fabulous!!! I dropped my bags, lit a fire and simply sat back to enjoy the quiet serenity of my surroundings.
As I strolled through the nearby surrounds and explored the area, I found myself feeling more connected to the natural world around me. The chirping of the birds, the rustling of the leaves, and the scent of wet earth filled my senses, reminding me of the beauty and simplicity of life. Its all about the simple things really... isnt it?!!!
But it wasn't just about being one with nature. The quiet stillness of the environment allowed me to reflect on my own life and priorities. I thought about my goals, my relationships, and my own personal growth. I gained a new sense of perspective and clarity that I wouldn't have been able to achieve if I stayed stuck in my usual routine.
In the end, my weekend in the middle of nowhere reminded me of a valuable lesson. Sometimes, all we need is to disconnect from our usual routines and the distractions of modern life to reconnect with ourselves and appreciate the beauty of mother nature.
Whether you're looking for a sense of adventure, inner peace, or just a change of scenery, hitting the open road and exploring the great outdoors is one of the best ways to find what you're looking for.... and dont listen to that lazy little voice inside of your head which tells you that staying in your comfort zone is easier... because its lyingggg!!! Just dooooo ittttt!!!

Hey @chanych85 thats not a bad idea at all!!! Except, I have like nooooo experience with fishing so I would probably tangle myself up in the rod before I managed to catch any fish, hehe! Do you fish at all?
The main thing is to start, and then it will work out :) I can’t say that I’m fond of fishing, but a couple of times a year I still manage to get out

Hi @eliza.anne. Looks like something is wrong with PeakD as the date of your photos are from 2022.05 and not 3 weeks ago as you say in the post. Very weird. I've never seen PeakD modify the date of the uploaded photos, did not even think it's possible. I'm contacting them to see what's going on.

I just replied to your other comment. Not sure if my reason there can be the problem, talking about the folders I use on my phone. Im not too bright on that stuff. If you find out it would be nice if you can let me know, because I don't use discord. If I can ask, why the photo dates are a problem on here?
The problem is, I can't report this to the team. I mean I can, but you need to be there too as Hive is decentralized as you know, you hold the key to your account and if they start asking questions (and they will as that's the only way of figuring out what's happened), you're the only one who can answer them. So it would be nice if you could log into Discord and contact them.
Because anyone who reads your post and checks your photo dates can accuse you of lying. You say one thing in your post and your photo dates contradict what you're saying. This is why it is a problem. If it's a glitch, this needs fixing so we can avoid people getting in trouble.

Ok, yes that makes sense!! I have only just started out here so would be nice not to get into trouble already, LOLZ! I was not paying attention to the date info on the photos at all to be honest because I didn't think about it like that, but will definitely double check it in future. I appreciate you making me aware of it though, thank you.
Really don't like discord and have never really heard much good about it from anyone, but I do see there are quite a few hive communities there, so perhaps they will change my mind eventually, LOLZ! If I do join, I will bring it up. Most likely I would think something happened on my side - not that I know what that is, lolz!
Anyhow, through all of it, I landed up on your blog yesterday after reading your comments, so something positive came of it which is always a good thing I guess!

all very much so. having lived in big cities myself on several occasions I came to understand that rather then living in a city and yearning escaping toward nature, I´d want to have it the other way around.
and to be frank, it didn´t really work that way as I never actually yearn going to a city.
