You live your tomorrow in the eyes of your today. If you cannot take responsibility for now, later will be far apart from you and whatever responsibility that lies therein will not be what you can handle.
You must be responsible for your actions today so that, you can be strong enough to take up tomorrow's duty. The man who knows his today affects his tomorrow will do whatever it takes to see it through anytime and any day.
Cowards flee from their duties and fools make excuses for their inability to live up to their strengths. "Muscles don't mean you are strong and a lack of it doesn't mean you are weak."
You just have to have the inner conviction that you are good enough to take down any challenge.
There is a saying that, "he who fights and runs away, will live to fight tomorrow" and for the world we are in, leaving a fight for later may get really difficult to defeat.
When the battle comes forth, don't run away, it can be surmounted and you can win if you just go out and fight it to a standstill.
You're right, we ought tackle today's task, taking responsibility for our every actions because a task undone still remain unaccomplished. There's a high possibility that we do live to still work it in the future which is a wrong time for such a task.
Do what needs to be done today and do it early. Don't leave the work of today for tomorrow because it already has it's own worries to tackle.
