¡Hola gente linda de Hive! hoy traigo para ustedes el proceso de una de mis obras favoritas, se trata de las “manos de flores”, el concepto inicial de este montaje era la expresión a través de las manos que luego evolucionó a la respuesta a la pregunta “¿qué pasaría si nuestro cuerpo estuviera lleno de flores?”.
Hello beautiful people of Hive! today I bring for you the process of one of my favorite works, it's about the "hands of flowers", the initial concept of this assembly was the expression through the hands that later evolved to the answer to the question "what would happen if our body was full of flowers?".
Es un concepto simple y delicado, que me permitió mostrar a través de cambios en la realidad como es la realidad desde mi punto de vista. Estamos llenos de cicatrices de una u otra forma. Son esas cicatrices las que nos hacen únicos y reales.
It is a simple and delicate concept, which allowed me to show through changes in reality what reality looks like from my point of view. We are full of scars in one way or another. It is those scars that make us unique and real.

Below, the process : the flower hands
Paso 1: Fotografía
Step 1: Photography
En este caso pedí ayuda a una persona muy especial para hacer esta foto, mi mamá, de hecho, ella es mi cómplice principal en la mayoría de mis fotografías. Nos aseguramos de que la imagen de mis manos fuera clara y que el fondo de la foto fuera neutro para hacer más fácil la edición posterior.
In this case I asked for help from a very special person to take this picture, my mom, in fact, she is my main accomplice in most of my photographs. We made sure that the image of my hands was clear and that the background of the photo was neutral to make further editing easier.
Paso 2: Corte y separación
Step 2: Cutting and separating
Para hacer los cortes en donde irán las flores, seleccioné los brazos y los separé del fondo, que luego retoqué un poco para hacerlo más uniforme. Al separar las manos del antebrazo y del fondo es más sencillo trabajar. Luego creé unos hoyos en cada corte para hacer la ilusión de cavidad.
To make the cuts where the flowers will go, I selected the arms and separated them from the background, which I then retouched a bit to make it more uniform. Separating the hands from the forearm and the background makes it easier to work. I then created some holes in each cut to make the illusion of a cavity.
Paso 3: Entran las flores
Step 3: The flowers go in
Haciendo uso de máscaras de capa y pinceles, agregué flores en cada cavidad poco a poco, a cada una de las flores les retiré el fondo individualmente para mayor comodidad en el montaje. Agregué unas nubes con el uso de pinceles, para darle un toque etéreo.
Making use of layer masks and brushes, I added flowers in each cavity little by little, to each of the flowers I removed the background individually for more comfort in the assembly. I added some clouds with the use of brushes, to give it an ethereal touch.
Paso 4: Edición de color
Step 4: Color Edition
Como pueden ver, no me fue posible decidir entre las ediciones color, cada revelado me gusta más que el otro, pero no puedo excluir ninguno, háganme saber que piensan ustedes 😊. Fue una edición muy relajante de hacer.
As you can see, I couldn't decide between the color edits, I like each one better than the other, but I can't exclude any of them, let me know what you guys think 😊. It was a very relaxing edit to do.
