¡Hola a todos! el día de hoy es día de series de Netflix, me hace mucha ilusión enseñarles este proyecto que implicaba la creación de un cartel para la promoción de la primera temporada de “ELITE”.
Hello everyone! today is Netflix series day, I'm very excited to show you this project that involved the creation of a poster for the promotion of the first season of "ELITE".
Elite narra la vida de un grupo de estudiantes del exclusivo colegio privado "Las Encinas" al que llegan tres nuevos alumnos becados de clase obrera, y donde las diferencias entre ricos y humildes dan lugar a un asesinato.
Elite narrates the life of a group of students at the exclusive private school "Las Encinas" where three new scholarship students from working class arrive, and where the differences between rich and humble lead to a murder.
Temas como la homosexualidad, el consumo de drogas, la mentira, las relaciones familiares disfuncionales, la sexualidad, enfermedades de transmisión sexual, clases sociales, cultura, religión y corrupción y asesinato son parte fundamentales en la trama y la hacen más rica he interesante sobre todo cuando los involucrados son adolescentes.
Themes such as homosexuality, drug use, lies, dysfunctional family relationships, sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, social classes, culture, religion, corruption and murder are a fundamental part of the plot and make it richer and more interesting, especially when those involved are teenagers.

If you haven't seen it yet, don't worry, no spoilers here, I can only say that there are several easter eggs in this poster.
Los dos principales son, el reloj y el trofeo. Estos dos objetos son muy importantes a lo largo de la serie, y marcan un momento decisivo en los acontecimientos que se desarrollan.
The two main ones are the clock and the trophy. These two objects are very important throughout the series, and mark a turning point in the events that unfold.

La narración de elite se desarrolla en pasado y en presente. Es decir que, desde el primer capítulo sabemos que uno de los personajes es asesinado, a partir de ahí, se muestra un continuo contraste entre el presente, que es el momento en que la policía está investigando el asesinato, y el pasado, donde es posible ver lo que realmente pasó y atar cabos por nuestra cuenta.
The elite narrative unfolds in past and present tense. That is to say, from the first chapter we know that one of the characters is murdered, from then on, a continuous contrast is shown between the present, which is the moment when the police are investigating the murder, and the past, where it is possible to see what really happened and to tie up ends on our own.
Durante la serie, se puede ver como la traición y las mentiras persiguen a los personajes, por ello realicé ilustraciones de los mismos omitiendo sus ojos, denotando de esta forma el misterio que los envuelve.
During the series, you can see how betrayal and lies pursue the characters, so I made illustrations of them omitting their eyes, thus denoting the mystery that surrounds them.
Realicé dos estilos, uno donde solo omití los ojos y otro donde únicamente se resaltaron algunos rasgos del personaje, como si fuera una sombra.
I made two styles, one where I only omitted the eyes and another where only some features of the character were highlighted, as if it were a shadow.

El orden de los personajes en esta presentación está condicionada a su relación en la serie, por lo que en cada fila están las relaciones entre personajes.
The order of the characters in this presentation is conditioned to their relationship in the series, so in each row are the relationships between characters.
Tomando en cuenta los huevos de pascua y del misterio de asesinato que envuelve a los personajes, creé el cartel de elite 😆
Taking into account the easter eggs and the murder mystery that surrounds the characters, I created the elite poster 😆
Como pueden ver me decanté por las ilustraciones de sombras y las ubiqué en el reloj, ya que de alguna manera es una cuenta regresiva lo que se puede ver en la serie en cuanto a la investigación del asesinato y que tiene que ver con el reloj y el trofeo, que en este caso se incluyó como la sombra del reloj. Por otro lado, el cartel tiene otro huevo de pascua que son los cabellos rojos y las pequeñas manchas de sangre para ilustrar el asesinato.
As you can see I opted for the shadow illustrations and placed them on the clock, since somehow it is a countdown what can be seen in the series in terms of the murder investigation and that has to do with the clock and the trophy, which in this case was included as the shadow of the clock. On the other hand, the poster has another easter egg which is the red hair and the little blood stains to illustrate the murder.
Me divertí mucho haciendo este cartel y viendo la serie, se las recomiendo si quieren pasar una tarde interesante. No he visto la 3era temporada y tampoco creo que lo haga. Sin embargo, recomiendo mucho la primera.
I had a lot of fun making this poster and watching the series, I recommend it if you want to spend an interesting afternoon. I haven't seen the 3rd season and I don't think I will either. However, I highly recommend the first one.
