Imagine a man, born with a heart full of kindness
but it is hidden under a mountain of greed.
He has something within
of more worth
than all gold on earth,
but he is not rich"

                           Aufie Zophy

Today, I imagine a world where everyone understands that kindness is the golden key to happiness. I see a future in which everyone values his or her own inherent happiness and seeks to increase it via acts of kindness. Whenever we stray from the kind path that comes from an endless stream of kindness that flows from our hearts, there is one word we may say to ourselves that will jolt us back to the path where the stream of kindness runs. All humans on the planet will use that one word, and hearing it from a friend will melt our hearts and allow kindness to flow.If we meet a friend who has wandered away from the stream of kindness, we may simply speak the word and guide him back to creative kindness, which will return both you and your friend to the intrinsic delight that kindness generates...

Let's pick a keyword right now and start using it with our immediate circle of friends. Let the word be WEMA, which means "kindness" in Swahili.

If you feel your wrath increasing or you are not being kind enough tomorrow, simply repeat to yourself "Wema," say it aloud, and allow it to serve as a reminder to be kinder. Simply say "Wema" if your friend is irritated. If your friend inquires about what you just said, you can explain its meaning and encourage him to simply say "Wema" if he or she believes you should be kinder.

Is it possible for this to work? Yes, it is possible. Let us begin immediately to multiply compassion. Let us begin to utilize WEMA or KINDNESS as a code word, and make it the standard rather than the exception in this great world.:)
I adore the phrase WEMA because it has both "we" and "ma," a word for mother that is used all across the world to refer to our mother, the ultimate emblem of loving kindness.
