My Comeback to Hive: DIY Curly Crochet

Hello again Friends,

It's been weeks I have dropped any update or catch up on contests, yeah these past weeks has been a lot challenging for me. There was work on one side, my skills on another and then the fact that I was preparing for my POP (Passing Out Parade), it's a ceremony for corpers after serving one's fatherland for a year. An experience every Nigerian graduate look forward to, mine wasn't any different, in fact I overdid myself.

Over the years I have always picked a new skill to learn, no limitations whatsoever, I learn, practice and use it for me, just me, haven't gone commercial with any of my skills. Let me say I'm weighing my options for the best and most lucrative one.

During the lockdown period I followed a YouTuber whose specialization is in the hairline and started trying out stuffs, I promised myself I was going to make my hair from scratch for my POP and I did.

I set out to make a Passion twist with Kanekalon hair but changed course along the way, made the change to a crocheted curly hair.

The materials I used include

• 1 pack of Kanekalon hair (attachment), I mixed three colours

• 2 packs of Straws

• Above Oil Sheen Hair spray

• Conditioner to soften the hair

• And of course hot water

• Crochet hook

• Kanekalon hair
