Hace años durante mis primeros semestres de facultad, y durante un trueque de libros en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, que organicé junto a una comunidad literaria llamada Cúpula de Libros, encontré un libro que llamó mi atención, más por su título que por otra cosa “Calidoscopio”, un titulo extraño y llamativo, y decidí cambiar un libro para poder llevarme ese.
Nunca antes había leído o escuchado de esa autora, fue como descubrir una aguja en un pajar de títulos ya conocidos, cuando lo empecé a leer, quedé fascinada por la narrativa de la autora, muy detallada, profunda, rica en prosa y versos, con personajes profundos y completos. Muy complejos algunos. Quedé enamorada de su escritura.

Algunos leí en PDF, otros tuve la suerte de que un librero, me prestaba los libros y así pude leer estos libros de Danielle Steel. En Barquisimeto, Venezuela, hay una plaza llamada de manera coloquial, la plaza de la moneda, allí hay alrededor de 15 o 20 libreros, que desde hace 20 años o más, colocaban su mesita y vendían libros nuevos y usados, hasta hace 10 años que les pusieron especie de quioscos donde podían dejar sus libros y que no se mojaran. Esta plaza, se volvió mi lugar favorito en la ciudad.

Some I read in PDF, others I was lucky that a bookseller lent me the books and so I was able to read these books by Danielle Steel.
