Welcome to the last day of the week, buzzketeers!

Today, we're going to talk about something that's at the heart of our identity - our names. It's often the first thing people learn about us, and it gives us our context and identity. But have you ever wondered what would happen if you were denied the name your parents gave you?

Let's take a trip back to 2015, when the world was a much simpler place. It was the year a French couple had a new baby, and they decided to call her "Nutella". Yes, you heard that right! It may seem odd, but that's the name they wanted to bestow on their precious newborn.

However, it didn't take long for the French court to hear about the baby's name, and the parents were summoned to court. Perhaps they thought it was all a joke, or they didn't feel like going to court for an unusual name. Whatever the reason, the parents didn't show up, and the judge was left with no choice but to issue a ruling. Source

The judge ruled that the name "Nutella" would lead to the child being teased and bullied. As a result, the judge ordered the child to be called "Ella" instead. It's an interesting story, and we wonder what happened to baby "Nutella", who is now officially baby "Ella". Who knows, maybe she's reading this article right now?
