I think we have similar attitudes towards life. I’ve always worked to live not the other way around. I love wood working and I’m looking to get into it more. I’ve made a bunch of live edge shelves for our house and some black walnut thresholds. We have a live edge black walnut table that I love too. I’m looking to find a wood supplier as I’d like to start making tables to sell.

I here you when it comes to the love for working with wood and creating something beautiful. Being fortunate enough to have our own mill allows me to cut some gorgeous lumber. I have a nice stockpile of air-dried 2 inches to 4 inches in slabs, all different species of wood.
If you can find the right outfit to supply you with slabs, there is a lot of money to be made making all types of furniture, both live edge and square stock slabs.
It's fun finding another dude in love with wood and with a similar stance about how to live.
Stay safe @cryptictruth and good luck with any and all wood endeavors.
I don’t have a mill, but I’ve used my chainsaw to cut some slabs, but that limited to the blade width which is 18’’. I would also like to get a wood planer because using a belt sander is just not the same.
