Hello hivans here, have you all been good? I have been having quite some lovely moments with my birds.
It's my first time owning my a poultry, it's had always been visiting friends who have poultry. I started my poultry construction about two week ago and it's been my joy that I'm finally doing something for myself. As expected, Christmas is knocking right on the door, a lots of demands will start soon.
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur so this is why I decided to start from here.
@femcy-willcy has been of great help in helping me with starting this business. He's been in charge of the construction of the cage and the supervision even though he's always busy.
I had ideas about how poultry farm works and I have been with him for some years. I learnt a lot about this business, thanks to him.
We got a day old chicks from a farm called Valentine chickens. It was a hassle getting the chicks actually but we got a hundred chicks and they are all doing fine. The first treatment we gave them when we received them was antibiotics and anti stress to prevent weaknesses from the stress they went through.
The chicks didn't find it hard adapting to the new environment they found themselves. We provided them with everything they need from food to water and drugs to help them with a healthy diet.
