RE: Drawing of a girl and a lovely cat on sketchbook app.

You have already posted this post and it's plagiarism to begin with! Shame on you. I hope you aren't @funboy, @ai5, and @thebusycat all in one. I noticed you all have sent money to one another.

İt's true that all those account "friends and relatives" are sending me money, in fact it's a way more easier to exchange it like this as we can't just go to the grocery and sell some crypto :P "country issues" , there are many steps and i am acting like a "middle man"...

About the drawing, it looks edited but i saw the steps in the post, and she mentioned that she saw it on facebook.
So, it is not original, but also not stolen.
İ checked now and you are right that she already posted it, @karen1998 you can't publish the same post multiple times.
Hope that clears the misunderstanding a little.

@thebusycat One of those accounts i mentioned, which is a friend or family member of yours, had multiple posts edited to hide actual plagiarism. They also have posted the same art multiple times as well.

Then karen may have directly plagiarised by using the app and filters or at the least copied another person's art and passed it off as her own with only a mention of having found it on facebook. That's still plagiarising someone's work and financially profiting from the other person's work.

There is another artist that seems to have two different styles and has some work very similar to one of the directly plagiarised artist. All three of these accounts have exchanged money with you. As a curator, we look out for plagiarism and unsourced materials that require accountability and recognition. I hope that what you are saying is true and i do understand friends and family members helping each other out to make things more simple. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt to everyone.

However, if they are all your friends and family members you should all get on the same page about what the etiquette is here on Hive before they all get their reputations tarnished forever. We have a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism here on Hive. Recycling posts or double and triple dipping the rewards pool is also a big no no as you pointed out to Karen.

I made two posts that go over a lot of the dos and don'ts for Hive. Maybe you could all spend some time together going over these issues so as not to break the rules any further.

Please check those out when you get some time and make sure NOT to do the things in there it warns against doing.

Your account was the least suspect of all the ones i tagged... so maybe since you are handling the money you can take responsibility for helping them all get on the right page moving forward.

Traced over and done with a color picker.

I just draw like a hobby... I take the drawings which I like it, from Facebook and I try to draw it. I didn't know I must to mention the source or the artist.
And about the other acounts, they are just my friends.
All one of them have his own account
When I want to convert my HBD to dollar, I just sent my money to @thebusycat then he gaves it to me.

Im really sorry about that
But i told you and I swear : We are not a one account.

Sourcing any image that is not yours is mandatory here on Hive since you are making money from your posts. If it's not your own completely original content... then it's considered plagiarism. If you find art that you like and want to recreate you need to post a citation or source to where you are getting your idea and inspiration. Otherwise, it appears as if you are trying to make it look like your own. You did mention finding this on Facebook... but that's not enough of a citation or source.

You also posted this art more than once which is taking advantage of the rewards pool. You received a message the last time you posted this artwork about it being plagiarised and you didn't comment back there. That doesn't look good. Read the comment i left for thebusycat above and you will know my thoughts.

You are absolutely right and im sorry.

Just know that nothing i have said or done is personal. It's more of a professional courtesy to the community. Please do read those posts and take some time to get familiar with the unspoken rules and etiquettes for how to be successful here on Hive. Using the best practices is actually more rewarding in the long run in more ways than one. Doing things the right way is going to help you succeed. I want everyone to be successful here... so long as they aren't scamming or abusing the privileges that we are afforded on Hive which can enrich our own livlihoods. Cheers Karen.
