I must confess that most of my life I always believed to be exclusively team dog, since I was a child they are the most pets I have had. When I was 10 years old, an uncle gave me a present that would be my best friend for a long time. It was a little chihuahua named Toby. He was my partner until my first year of college, you can imagine how old he left my home more than ever from my heart.

In my house we always had many dogs, before and after toby, but I considered him unique, he was only mine, the others were from the family in general but toby belonged to me only. That's how I considered him haha that's why our connection was so special.

Even at home there was a cat too, but I felt that its owner was only my mother, I never got to have such an affinity with her. Besides we had an incident, I was small and in my innocence of wanting to play I treated her very roughly and I ended up with my hand and arm scratched, which managed to reinforce my inclination towards the team dog and never wanting to have a cat.

On the other hand my boyfriend is the opposite, he loves cats and always told me that he would be our first pet, I really didn't like the idea very much, in those times I dreamed of a Siberian Husky, it wasn't in my plans at all to have a cat.

Already living together, one afternoon I was working on the computer and suddenly my boyfriend arrived excited and nervous at the same time, he kept telling me "it was an impulse, it was an impulse" I did not understand anything, partly I was already getting scared until I went to see what he was carrying and I saw that little ball of hair, seeing us also nervous, totally incredulous of what was happening without knowing where he was. She found it a few streets away from our house, practically in the garbage and didn't have the heart to leave it there and took it.

And that's how this cute little thing came into our lives to change my perspective completely. She's super sweet, playful, and sometimes really awesome. I really feel like she knows that we're her family who take care of her and love her very much.

She's the baby of the house, but she's still missing her little dog brother that will never change. I think we can conclude that I'm a co-ed team. By the way, my baby's name is Luna.

This is my experience with pets who are our great friends. Adopting is a great act of love for all those little ones who are waiting for a nice home and in our case it was the best decision.

Debo de confesar que gran parte de mi vida siempre creí ser exclusivamente team perro, desde pequeña son la mayoría de mascotas que he tenido. Cuando tenía 10 años un tío me regalo quien sería mi mejor amigo por mucho tiempo. Era un pequeño chihuahua llamado Toby. Fue mi compañero hasta mi primer año de universidad, se pueden imaginar lo viejito que partió de mi hogar más nunca de mi corazón.

En mi casa siempre tuvimos muchos perros, antes y después de toby, pero a él lo consideraba único, era solo mío, los demás eran de la familia en general pero toby me pertenecía a mi nada más. Así lo consideraba yo jaja por eso nuestra conexión tan especial.

Incluso en casa también había una gata, pero yo sentía que su dueña era solo mi mamá, nunca llegue a tener tanta afinidad con ella. Además tuvimos un incidente, yo era pequeña y en mi inocencia de querer jugar la traté muy brusco y termine con la mano y el brazo aruñados, lo que logró reforzar mi inclinación hacia el team perro y no querer tener nunca un gato.

En cambio mi novio es todo lo contrario, ama los gatos y siempre me decía que sería nuestra primera mascota, a mi realmente no me gustaba mucho la idea, en esos tiempos soñaba era con un Husky Siberiano, no estaba para nada en mis planes tener un gato.

Ya viviendo juntos, una tarde me encontraba trabajando en la computadora y de pronto llegó mi novio emocionado y a la vez nervioso, no paraba de decirme “fue un impulso, fue un impulso” yo no entendía nada, en parte ya me estaba asustando hasta que me acerqué a ver lo que traía y ví esa pequeña bolitas de pelo, viéndonos también nerviosa, totalmente incrédula de lo que pasaba sin saber dónde estaba. Se la encontró a unas cuantas calles de nuestra casa, prácticamente en la basura y no tuvo corazón para dejarla ahí y la tomó.

Y así fue como esta linda cosita llegó a nuestras vidas a cambiar mi perspectiva por completo. Es súper dulce, juguetona y a veces muy tremenda. Realmente siento que sabe que somos su familia quienes la cuiden y quieren mucho.

Es la bebé de la casa, pero aún le falta su hermanito perruno eso nunca cambiará. Creo que podemos concluir que soy un team mixto. Por cierto, mi niña se llama Luna.

Esta es mi experiencia con las mascotas quienes son nuestros grandes amigos. Adoptar es un gran acto de amor para todos esos pequeños que se encuentran en la espera de un lindo hogar y en nuestro caso fue la mejor decisión.
