Hello Hive friends, my name is Carmen, I am Venezuelan, I am 62 years old. It is a pleasure to be part of the hive.
I was a seamstress for many years, I provided services for a company, but that has changed, now I am only at home and I do few seams because it is my passion, since sewing for me is an art.
I put this first photo with my younger brother, he has Down syndrome, we are many brothers the truth, but he is the "spoiled" of all of us.
They are part of my family, my dear nephews with whom I share a lot, since the family is dispersed in various cities.
In this image we were very happy because we visited the cable car in Caracas, a little scare because of the height, but we managed to reach the top. A very beautiful place.
I love spending time with my family, my loved ones are my greatest blessing. I hope that one day we can all be together again.
I could not stop showing this image of mine on the beach, because it is a warm and very beautiful place, which I had the opportunity to visit in Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela. It has beautiful beaches and I enjoyed it to the fullest, the moments are more than just moments, they are stages of our life that we must embrace.
As I mentioned, sewing is my passion, here I show myself in my work, making different samples of work.
My pretty niece, helps me measure and cut. Everything is part of a process, which requires dedication, time and love.
Let's get to work, we must sew, so the sewing machine and I are best friends. She is my favorite ally, where I fulfill dreams.
Each garment, each fabric that I am preparing to do different things, I do it with good reasons, which help me stay on my feet.
Each of us, we have aspirations, maybe and at this age I have few things to fulfill, I still do not know. But what I do know is that I must do it with enthusiasm and love, never letting dreams escape.
Build your dreams and don't let them fade away. How beautiful it is that we are happy all the time, that what we do is what we want, our work is what keeps us happy.
