[ESP/ING] At my 60's I'm still learning, flower arranging workshop 💐💐

Esta semana estuve en otra comunidad cerca de donde vivo, mi amiga Icidra me llamó y me dijo: ¨vieja vente que vienen unas personas de la fundación empresas Polar a dictar un taller de arreglo florales artificiales¨...

Ésta fundación lleva a las comunidades pequeños talleres sin tintes políticos para educar y crear un mejor país, eso nos dijeron los profesores Cándido y Sabina, una pareja de esposos, muy agradables. Mientras Sabina reparte de mesa en mesa el material y herramientas a utilizar, el profe Cándido nos habló acerca de lo importante que son los ejercicios para estimular los hemisferios cerebrales (gimnasia cerebral), a la vez que nos hacía hacer ejercicios con los dedos 😁.

This foundation takes to the communities small workshops without political dyes to educate and create a better country, that's what the teachers Candido and Sabina, a couple of very nice husbands, told us. While Sabina distributed from table to table the material and tools to be used, professor Cándido talked to us about the importance of the exercises to stimulate the cerebral hemispheres (cerebral gymnastics), while he made us do exercises with our fingers 😁.

Nos colocamos en pareja, fueron dos mañanas, en la primera hicimos un arreglo de flores redondo, debo acotar que los talleres son gratuitos y que el material y los arreglos hechos son cortesía de la fundación, el segundo arreglo era lineal, en forma de L. Cada vez que elaboremos un arreglo floral artificial o natural deberemos tomar en cuenta, primero marcar punteros con las mismas flores o follajes para demarcar altura, ancho y profundidad.

In the first one we made a round flower arrangement, I must point out that the workshops are free and that the material and the arrangements made are courtesy of the foundation, the second arrangement was linear, in the shape of an L. Every time we make an artificial or natural flower arrangement we must take into account, first we must mark pointers with the same flowers or foliage to demarcate height, width and depth.

Cuando se recortan los tallos de las flores ves recomendable dejar filo para que encajen mejor en la base a colocar, en algunos casos se usan palillos de madera para facilitar encajarlas y darles altura, vamos armando el ramo visualizando la línea que queremos y colocando las flores con la mejor vista hacia arriba para que parezcan vivas.

When cutting the stems of the flowers, it is advisable to leave a sharp edge so that they fit better in the base to be placed, in some cases wooden sticks are used to make it easier to fit them and give them height, we assemble the bouquet visualizing the line we want and placing the flowers with the best view upwards so that they look alive.

Resumiendo: primero marcar punteros principales, luego los secundarios, vamos rellenando espacios ( profundidad), sin pasarnos del ancho ya marcado, las hojas altas acompañan los punteros principales y las más pequeñas los espacios entre las rosas.

To summarize: first mark the main pointers, then the secondary ones, fill in the spaces (depth), without going beyond the already marked width, the tall leaves follow the main pointers and the smaller ones the spaces between the roses.

Quería compartir con ustedes ésta hermosa experiencia y a la vez invitarte a que te muevas en tu comunidad y busques opciones para aprender cosas nuevas, tengo 60 años y desde que asisto a talleres o cursos me siento muy bien, salgo de lo cotidiano de la rutina de casa y comparto con personas haciendo nuevas amistades, nutriendo mente y espíritu.

I wanted to share with you this beautiful experience and at the same time invite you to move in your community and look for options to learn new things, I am 60 years old and since I attend workshops or courses I feel very good, I get out of the daily routine of home and share with people making new friendships, nourishing mind and spirit.
