Hi guys, how are you? how's it going? it's a pleasure to share our illustrations to you again, we're really excited to show you our art today and tell you a little bit about what our life's all been these last months and why we've been so inactive around here.

The truth is so exciting because we got a job as illustrators, at the beginning we've been so busy since we had to learn new illustration styles, illustrate gestures, emotions, etc. However, it was always in our mind to publish again in our beloved blog and this publication is very special for us.

This first illustration that we decided to call "Life on another planet" is one of the first illustrations that we made at our new work, for these reason you can notice difference in the art thar we shared at first, maybe some small mistakes in the positions of characters since we're in learning phase, we still are, but every day you learn something new that's why you wake up every day and try to improve what you love to do. it's great to look back from and notice how far you've grown.

We hope you like this new style of illustration, and we hope to continue sharing new illustrations colorful. and full of life, as well as tell you some tips regarding illustrations.

¡Hola chicos! ¿Cómo están? ¿Cómo va todo? es un placer saludarles nuevamente, hoy estamos muy emocionadas de volver a compartir con ustedes nuestro arte y contarles un poco de qué ha sido de nuestra vida estos últimos meses y por qué hemos estado tan inactivas por acá.

La verdad es muy emocionante ya que hemos conseguido un trabajo como ilustradoras, al principio este consumió bastante tiempo puesto que debimos aprender nuevos estilos de ilustración, ilustrar gestos, emociones, entre otros. Sin embargo, siempre en nuestra mente se mantuvo presente volver a publicar en nuestro querido blog y esta publicación es muy especial para nosotras.

Esta primera ilustración que decidimos llamar "Vida en otro planeta" es una de las primeras ilustraciones que hicimos nuestro nuevo trabajo, por ellos pueden notar diferencia en el arte comparándola con nuestros primeros dibujos, quizá unos pequeños errores en las posiciones de personajes ya que estábamos en fase aprendizaje, aún lo estamos, pero cada día se da un paso y es genial mirar de vez en cuando atrás y notar lo mucho que has avanzado.

Nosotras esperamos que les guste mucho este nuevo estilo de ilustración, y deseamos seguir compartiendo de ahora en adelante ilustraciones donde ustedes puedan ver nuevos estilos, colores y temáticas, así como también puedan recibir algunos tips referente a las ilustraciones.

Step by step

First we made a sketch of both children with different colors so that it would be easier not to forget any detail.

Second, we add the base colors of all the elements of the illustration.

The third step was adding lights and shadows to the background of the illustration, Currently we like the idea of adding details first in the background and then in the characters.

The fourth step consisted of adding lights, shadows and details to the spacecraft.

The fifth step was the most fun because I added lights, shadows and life to the little astronauts, this is always our favorite part because you can give life to the characters that before only existed in our mind.

The sixth and last step consisted in giving light and shadow to the extraterrestrials in order to conclude our marvelous illustration.

Photoshop CC 2021 and a Huion INSPIROY H640P graphics tablet were used to create this illustration.

Primero hicimos el boceto de ambos niños con diferencia de colores para que fuera más sencillo no olvidar algún detalle

Segundo agregamos los colores bases de todos los elementos de la ilustración

El tercer paso se basó en agregar luces y sombras al fondo de la ilustración, últimamente me gusta la idea de comenzar las ilustraciones de atrás hacia adelante para lo omitir algún detalle.

El cuarto paso consistió en agregar luces, sombras y detalles a la nave espacial

El quinto paso fue el más divertido porque agregué luces, sombras y vida a los pequeños astronautas, siempre es nuestra parte favorita dar vida a los personajes que antes solo existían en nuestra mente

El sexto y último paso consistió en dar luces y sombras a los extraterrestre y poder concluir nuestra maravillosa ilustración

Para la creación de esta ilustración se utilizó Photoshop CC 2021 and a Huion INSPIROY H640P graphics tablet
