We are in lockdown, just like most of you, one of the nesseccary laws that should prevent the spread of covid 19 in our country. Last week on top of the lockdown, the evening clock was added to the new situation and that makes our cities look so different and in a way also great to see. I never saw this before.
The evening clock an curfew is from 21.00 in the evening till 05.00 am in the morning. The highways are all empty, you can only travel when you have a letter with clearance. Ofcourse the delivery boys and girls can come to your house with food as an exception, also the emergency and health care workers.
Walking the dog is also something that is allowed, although you have to leach them.
So we can go out with the two furries.
This is beautiful photography from the RTL news, channel 4, they asked their reporters in our country, to send pictures where they normally photograph the news. So they are to thank for this great view on our country through their news lenses. So the credits go to them.
https://www.rtlnieuws.nl/editienl/artikel/5211170/avondklokrellen-opsporing-verzocht-relschopper-ontslagen The news site has all the riot pictures aswell, I am so ashamed that I don’t want to share those pictures of my beloved Holland, and Rotterdam. I know we have been all over the news, world wide and that is enough. We all want our lives to go back to normal, or better yet a new normal with safety against covid 19 or what ever number, just like all the people in the world.
I love photography and the news can also be nice for a change, so thank you to RTL.
Hope you all are safe, and that we all will have a safe world again soon!
Thank you for stopping by, its appreciated and remember focus on being creative instead of being bee-zy.

Beautiful photographs that make my eyes happy. Your country is beautiful. It is nice that you focus on the positive because that will lead us to that future of well-being that you name and that we all yearn for in the world. A hug, dear Britt and thank you for sharing! @brittandjosie 🤗😙💖🌈🌹
So sorry to hear you are in lock down again. I know that individuals must not have done what they were supposed to do to be penalized. It's for everyone's health and safety to follow the rules.
Hope it can end soon for you.
It seems all over the world internal conflicts are erupting. From the attack on the US capitol, to the Russian riots in regards to Navalny, and now the riots all over Nederland due to the curfew. From some obscure point of view it is understandable that some less emotionally strong people may become restless and act on it after a year of quarantine. But that doesn't justify it. I hope we can put all of this in the past sooner than later.
Until then, we will have to find the bright sides of the situation, like you did with the awesome pictures of the empty streets. :)

I totally agree the world is on fire. We all have so much going on and the fact that it is also been this way for almost a year is difficult for everyone! But also we have to look to the future that can be bright, I don’t know when but it could be, but here the riots to rob stores of people that don’t have any income due to the fact they had to close shop weeks ago is so Sad. I had the need to show some other side of Covid.
Maybe I should also do a blog about the fact covid also gave people the ideas for new inventions!
I wish you well and please stay sane and safe
The broken piano at the central station was an especially sad sight.
Sounds like a plan! Put a positive spin on things. :)
The piano got replaced, I played when I arrived at the station a few years ago! But it’s on the dot again and we have seen that the old one is being remodelled to be at another part of the central station.
They started to judge the rioters and they face hailstone and have to pay for damage. All young people so they will feel
It for a long time
Those who choose to live in a system should be prepared to face consequences when breaking the rules of that system. Hopefully they will come out of it wiser.
Maybe I should also do a blog about the fact covid also gave people the ideas for new inventions!
Sounds like a plan! Put a positive spin on things. :)
We need that and there were so many inventions world wide already my favorite was the mondkapjes with a see through part by the lips for deaf people who reads lip to communicate
Tag me I will upvote 😉
This invention comes to mind. 🙃
There are many things that provide input for a conflict. Is it because of policies in reducing the effects of corona. Or conflict due to the implementation of general elections.
Conflict is a situation that makes us have to find the best way or the right solution. One way is to hold back. This is aimed at politicians and financiers or businessmen. It would be better for government officials to cooperate by providing open information.
Whatever it is, I am one of those who pray that we will return to normal life. So that the meeting of hive users can take place. Maybe in Indonesia? Hive International Meeting. Interesting as a prayer.
Enjoy your coffee

Once they get this, maybe, just maybe, democracy might actually work like it should.
A Hive meeting in Indonesia would be awesome, as it's still on my travel bucket list. Although I haven't decided yet which islands I want to visit.
CC @anggreklestari who are my mentor in hive hahahhaha

We as citizens have the right to display posts that strengthen the spirit to live or report an incident. Indeed, there are government policies that we like or not. We also have the right and the duty to spread a positive spirit.
Whatever it is. all of us, the people of this world, and everyone wishes for peace and a normal life.
Enjoy your coffee

Ohhh how i long for normal lives again or the new normal if that is the end result but a life without fear of catching the Big C Or covid if you want. We need to stay positive because If we stop being positive who will be, stay strong and enjoy your coffee I will take a tea
I still don't know how to stay positive. Many people from my village are still afraid of Covid-19. Moreover, you have to go through a lot of tests just to travel.
Same here , in fact you can not travel , so that’s automatically not possible only if its nesseccary for work.
I do have to say that staying positive has also to do with keeping faith, always the hardest but most needed. `Maybve pray for better times, try to sleep and stay calm, we have done it for almost a year so we can do it. And lets hope for vaccinations soon.
Right. The good thing in the past year is that many people have returned to drinking herbal origin. I don't know there. if here, for example, drink the stew of ginger, or spices, so it's like tea. besides, many people are already concerned about health and exercise. Even so, I'm still lazy to exercise, hahahaha
Can almost say join the club @brittandjosie our curfew is from 9pm to 5am, moved from 11pm to 4am with this second wave, (not that people listen). First time our freeways looked similar.
Still not able to walk dogs in public areas, beaches or parks making it tough on the pooch. Oh and back on another alcohol ban, each country has many skeletons to hide in cupboards, lets hope it doesn't become too many that the door pops open and it all pours out which I think in time it will.
Keep smiling and enjoy time with family, hopefully soon we will be able to move around once again.

Oh yes those skeletons, well here people dont listen either, its so hard to get people on the same side, and the riots here were so shameful, i was ashamed to be dutch. We will have to see its winter so after 9 outside is solely to walk the dogs and go back in side quick. In two weeks we will know if numbers dropped, and the kids will be going to school again, we will see, we will see i just don’t know
People are confused, angry and looking for direction which they are not getting with so many lies being told. Best to see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil like three wise monkeys.
Never be embarrassed for what is happening, it is throughout the world.
Hugz and keep smiling as best as one is able.
It is true but painful that most of the countries are getting lockdown due to pandemic and the sufferers are innocent people, although it will be good for covid control. Be safe .
The second wave of the pandemic have been said to be more critical than the initial one and the recent update have shown that many countries are falling back into lockdown as a way of curtailing the spread of this pandemic.
I moved around the town that I'm staying and it made me to wish that we would also fall back to lockdown for the sake of the unknown because people no longer care about the effect of this pandemic.
The sad part of your write-up is the aspect of the riot so just stay safe because all these will still be over
