At home I have a space that looks a bit dull and lacking in color; I thought about how to highlight it. I came up with the idea of ​​making a nice and modern multicolored rug, you will see it as a simple homemade detail; will bring joy to a space with a touch of color.

En casa tengo un espacio que se ve un poco apagado y falto de color; pensé en la forma de como resaltarlo. Se me ocurrió la idea de elaborar un lindo y moderno tapete multicolor, verán como un sencillo detalle hecho en casa; dará alegría a un espacio con un toque de color.

• Patchwork of colored fabrics.
• Black fabric.
• Figure of 2 hearts (one 6 centimeters high and the other 9 centimeters high).
•Whiteboard.
•Pencil.
•Scissor.
•Needle and thread.
•Glue.

• Figura de 2 corazones (uno de 6 centímetros de alto y otro de 9 centímetros de alto).

Start by marking with a chalk on the black cloth the outline of a circumference of 30 centimeters in diameter (use a cardboard plate); cut out the figure, then fold the fabric circumference into four parts and with the chalk mark the center of the circumference.

Inicio marcando con una tiza en la tela negra el contorno de una circunferencia de 30 centímetros de diámetro ( utilice un plato de cartón); recorte la figura, luego doble la circunferencia de tela en cuatro partes y con la tiza marque el centro de la circunferencia.

With a pencil he marked the hearts on the pieces of colored fabric (you will need 5 pairs of small hearts and 5 pairs of large hearts); I continue to trim the hearts along the edge. I continue to sew each pair of hearts both small and large along the edge with black thread.

Con un lápiz marcó los corazones en los retazos de telas de colores ( necesitará 5 pares de corazones pequeños y 5 pares de corazones grandes); continuo recortando los corazones por el borde.Sigo cosiendo cada par de corazones tanto los pequeños como los grandes por el borde con hilo negro.

Later I cut small ribbons of colored fabrics (1 centimeter wide and 7 centimeters long). Then he folded the ribbon in half and with small stitches I am sewing along the edge of the circumference of black fabric that will shape the beautiful mat, one next to the other until completing the outline.

Posteriormente corto pequeñas cintas de telas de colores ( 1 centímetros de ancho y 7 centímetros de largo). Luego dobló la cinta a la mitad y con pequeñas puntadas voy cosiendo por el borde de la circunferencia de tela negra que dará forma al lindo tapete, una al lado de la otra hasta completar el contorno.

To finish I use the glue to fix from the mark in the center of the circumference; first the 5 big hearts, press and then on top of them I fix the 5 small hearts.

Para finalizar utilizo el pegamento para ir fijando desde la marca del centro de la circunferencia; primero los 5 corazones grandes, presionar y luego encima de ellos fijo los 5 corazones pequeños.
