Today I want to show you how to make an original and beautiful box in the shape of a cute little frog at home using two cardboard rolls. It is an economical and easy idea to carry out with; a beautiful and fun design.

El día de hoy quiero mostrarles como hacer en casa una original y bella cajita con forma de lindo sapito empleando dos rollos de cartón. Es una idea económica y fácil de realizar con; un diseño hermoso y divertido.

They will need:

Necesitarán:

• 2 cardboard rolls (1 of them with the diameter of the base smaller than the other).
• Green, white and pink cardboard.
•Pencil.
•Colors.
• Patchwork of printed fabric.
•Needle and thread.
• Black marker.
•Scissor.
•Glue.

•2 rollos de cartón (1 de ellos con el diámetro de la base más pequeño que el otro).
•Cartón verde, blanco y rosado.
•Lápiz.
•Colores.
•Retazo de tela estampado.
•Aguja e hilo.
•Marcador negro.
•Tijera.
•Pegamento.

He began by pressing the upper end of the cardboard roll (with more diameter) with the tapestry, he drew the outline of the frog's head and reported; then I introduce the narrowest cardboard roll, inside the one with the figure of the little frog, to mark (as far as the roll will go), cut out and glue a green cardboard circle at its base.

Inició presionando el extremo superior del rollo de cartón (con mas diámetro) con el tapiz dibujo el contorno de la cabeza del sapito y reportó; luego introduzco el rollo de cartón mas angosto, dentro de el que tiene la figura del sapito, para marcar (hasta donde va entrar el rollo), recorto y pego en su base un círculo de cartón verde.

He continued to mark the outline (front and back) of the cardboard roll frog on the green cardboard, cut out. Then I paint on the cardboard a pair of haunches and front legs and on the yellow cardboard the outline of her belly, and I proceed to cut out the figure.

Continuó marcando el contorno(frontal y posterior) del sapito del rollo de cartón en el cartón verde, recorto. Luego pinto en el cartón un par de ancas y patas frontales y en la cartulina amarilla el contorno de su barriga, y procedo a recortar la figura.

I color the contour of the figure, on the white cardboard he cut out a couple of small circles to make eyes, I glue them and also his belly to the figure of the toad. Then with the black marker I draw eyes, mouth and with a green color I make small circles to simulate moles.

Coloreo el contorno de la figura, en la cartulina blanca recortó un par de pequeños círculos para hacer ojos , los pego y también su barriga a la figura del sapito. Luego con el marcador negro dibujo ojos, boca y con un color verde realizo pequeños círculo para simular lunares.

He continued with the black marker bordering the figure. I apply glue to fix the upper end of the cardboard figure, on each side of the roll I glue its haunches, then I fix the back and finally the front part of the figure, let it dry.

Continuó con el marcador negro bordeando la figura. Aplico pegamento para fijar el extremo superior de la figura de cartón, a cada lado del rollo pego sus ancas, luego fijo al el la parte posterior y por último la parte frontal de la figura, dejo secar.

On each side of the belly stick her legs and cut two small circles on pink cardboard to simulate her cheeks. With the piece of cloth he made a bow and glued it to the little frog.

A cada lado de la barriga pegar sus patitas y en cartón rosado corto dos pequeños círculos para simular sus mejillas. Con el retazo de tela realizó un lazo y lo pego al sapito.

This original and beautiful box shaped like a cute little toad using two cardboard rolls; It is a simple, inexpensive and fun idea with which you can surprise a loved one with this charming design.
